My daughter absolutely loves going to Morhaven Social. She attends concerts and outings. She enjoys the company and feeling so independent. The support workers are so friendly and great with my daughter as well. Very impressive service.

Morhaven has been an absolute lifesaver for my daughter since leaving high school. They have provided a warm and loving environment where my daughter can enjoy time with her friends and have fun. They tailor all the activities to the needs and wants of the young adults attending. My daughter is obsessed with singing and acting and she absolutely loves all the concerts and theatre shows they get to attend! The support workers are so supportive and have been helping my daughter on the weekends get to her dance class and go for lunch, in addition to seeing her during the week for the day program. I can’t thank them enough for helping her build her independence. Morhaven really has been amazing for our family and a great option for my daughter since leaving high school.

I have been seeing my Exercise Physiologist Rob Barker from Morhaven Disability Services Hornsby for a very long time.

I already had a complex medical history when I started seeing Rob. However, I have had a few new diagnosis since.

What has really impressed me is the lengths that Rob will go to so he delivers the ultimate service to his clients. For example, one of my newer diagnosis is F.N.D. To gain a detailed understanding about the condition, Rob took it upon himself to go to the Australian FND sites, buy a FND book and generally gather as much information on F.N.D. as possible. He even (with my prior approval) spoke with my FND Psychologist to work out an agreed way to continue my EP sessions moving forward in the safest way for me.

Rob has a compassionate and caring nature and is a wealth of knowledge across many conditions. He
has helped me enormously. He knows when to push and when I need to rest before I do. I am very stubborn and don't like to 'give in'. Hence, at times he has professionally 'put his foot down' for my benefit.

I honestly don't know where I would be physically without him. I am able to ride a three wheel trike, which is my freedom.

There is not enough time or space for me to write down all the positive outcomes I have experienced from Morhaven Disability Services and more importantly so Rob Barker Exercise Physiologist.
