Do not send your children to this school.

If you are considering Montgrove for its academic outcomes, this is not the school for you. Your daughters will receive a far more well-rounded, sound education elsewhere, at a school that can provide more resources and more subjects. Montrgove may be expanding, but it is too small to offer anything to boast about when it comes to academic outcomes. Students leave this extremely sheltered school with a stunted world view.

The only possible reason I can see for sending your daughters here is that you are an extremely devout Catholic, probably a part of Opus Dei, who actually somehow *wants* your daughters to believe they are subservient to men and their only purpose in life is to become a numerary or to have as many children as possible. If you care at all about gender equality, about an open world that is accepting of people who are different, if you don’t want your children to be at risk of bullying for being different, do not send them to this school.

If you are a current student at Montgrove reading this, I promise there is more for you outside of school. Try to push through until you graduate, if changing schools is not possible for you. As much as it sucks now, It’s gonna be okay. You won’t be stuck in that hell forever.

My daughter was new to Montgrove College this year (yr6) and I cannot thank the school, the teachers and the parent community of Montgrove enough.

My daughter's transition into Montgrove College has been fantastic. She was made to feel extremely welcome by all the girls in year 6, forming close friendships. She is now thriving academically and socially.

I would without a doubt recommend Montgrove College to any family looking for a school where not only your daughter/s are embraced but your whole family are welcomed.

The best decision we have made for our family was sending our daughter to Montgrove College. The PARED system is excellent and involves parents in the education and development of the child. The mentor program is fantastic. Our daughter is thriving and we have found a beautiful school community of staff and parents.

Montgrove College is a truly wonderful place. The children here are so polite and well-mannered, and my child is learning so much more here than her old school! The teachers are great as well. They encourage the students to be the best versions of themselves, that automatically makes the school optimal. There’s also so many extracurricular activities and events to keep her entertained! Montgrove is amazing, and I strongly recommend it.

I have 4 children that have attended and still attending Montgrove College. The programs they have in place to involve us as parents with the kids education is brilliant! We have trust in the teachers, mentors and even the students.. We have been so blessed to be involved in a community that cares about each of our children.. Montgrove college teach the kids to be polite respectful children and their efforts sure do pay off.. I love our school and I’m so grateful to have found them when I did. My kids were not getting the support or discipline that you would expect from their previous school and I really struggled to find anyone that could even come close to Montgrove’s morals . Moving my kids to Montgrove was and still is the best decision we have made for our kids now and their future.. thank you to all the teachers, mentors and head of school for the input you give to my kiddos..

From our experience as parents Montgrove has been a welcoming community and has an excellent mentor program. Faith, character and virtues are taught well and modelled. Whenever I have raised concerns they have been addressed promptly. It is a calm environment and well maintained campus. Mother and daughter camps, library and the Chapel are other great features. We have met amazing families here.
