Blake has been teaching me piano for 5 months. He's knowledgeable and paces the lessons to suit the learner. He demonstrates practice exercises to help build skills and follows up on previously taught skills. He knows a lot about music in general which leads to interesting conversations. I enjoyed his company and learnt basic to intermediate skills on the piano. Now, the hard part, I have to practice what I was taught.

Blake has been a great drum tutor for our 9 year old boy. Blake's knowledge of music theory, passion for music and life long pursuit of mastering multiple instruments (some well known, some exotic), his music ear & attention to detail is second to none. Blake is a gun drummer & teacher, is patient & has a calm chilled demeanor. In 12 months our sons progress has been extraordinary. Our son killed his first year of junior band, his timing, rhythm & skills after 12 months of tutoring under Blake has been truly extraordinary!!! We highly recommend Blake as a music tutor and musician.

Blake has been teaching my 9yr old for about a year. He is an amazing teacher. Our son connected with him instantly. Blake tailors the sessions to your child and will incorporate music that they are interested in. My son wanted to learn to play a certain song, so Blake learnt it and changed the drumming slightly to an achievable goal. Blake’s a great teacher and friendly cool guy with good sense of humour. I was super impressed by his highly technical drumming skills and his sophisticated knowledge of music theory and drum time signatures. He really helped me to better understand how to count time which can be challenging for people who are bad at maths. Blake found other ways to teach me to suit my learning style when the maths got too much. Blake has a laid back approach, is super patient and encouraging and invested in getting you to reach your drumming goals. The convenience of lessons at home was a major plus and Blake is super reliable. Happy to recommend 🤟

Blake did an excellent job of teaching my 6 yr old her first drumming lessons.
He also showed me what to do so I could help her practice. He was kind and patient, and she really liked him. He really knows his music. So convenient having him come to our home, so she could use her own drum kit.
