We had dinner there, the staff were very nice and the food was fantastic, I had the steak and my wife had the salmon rissoles both were a generous serving size.

Overall I was happy with out experience but this was saved by my main meal which was the salmon. The main was fresh and very well sized. But it was not all perfect. we were served the incorrect entree and have several incorrect main dishes attempted to be served to our table that belonged to other tables. The entree garlic, cheese and bacon bread/cob was under cooked with very little of any filling in or on it and was very small.we each looked at one another when it was placed onto our table.
The order to dine time was average and starting to border on a little too long. The chairs whilst in line with the overall decor are not overly comfortable and quite a shock when we first sat down and sunk into them. Someones grand parents are missing some chairs me thinks, My friends had the lamb cutlets and the whole fish, both of which were 'ok' but nothing special. My salmon on the other hand was absolutely lovely and turned my whole experience up to that point around. My mate summed it up nicely though I think, when he said pub meals at above pub prices. He said he didn't know if he would make the trip to eat there again......and he lives in cardiff 🙂 I however would try it again but I wont be rushing back. as others have said, it is very difficult to get info on hours etc or to get in touch to book. I tried for nearly 6 weeks to get them on the phone to book in and there is nothing worse than a business that makes it hard just to try and spend money with them. I don't think this one will be around for long

Raw rotten chicken need I say more?
Steak over cooked served on a pile mash mixed with disgusting vegetables, I was told it came with salad and chips. Wrong wine served to us. Wait staff not knowledgeable with menu or drinks, had to tell them where to find the wine and had no idea what the menu or specials were. What dishes do I recommend none, but can't get rid of salmon rissoles in the drop down!!!!

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and was looking forward to experiencing this restaurant. The reviews had us excited to dine at the Courthouse. We are now wondering if we were at the same place as the reviews related to. We ordered the bacon and cheese cob loaf for entree and New York Steak with seafood topper for mains. Asked for a wine list and there was none. Ended up with a bottom end Barossa Shiraz which ended up being the highlight of the meal. Our cob came out and we had only just started it when our mains came to the table. Our steaks were inedible. Overcooked, dry and tasteless. The seafood topper had even less flavour and 2 or the mussels in the sauce topper weren’t even open which is a danger sign. Ended up leaving most of our meals . Very disappointing experience.

Superb Steak deJeff (Strip Loin cooked perfect Medium with garlic prawn topper/sauce) Vegetables seasoned beautifully.
My wife had Salmon also with garlic prawn sauce and Salad.
We will definitely be putting this on our regular restaurant list.

On arrival was left standing at the bar for 3-4 mins while staff member cleared a table before being acknowledged, then was just told what table number ro sit at. 25 mins get drinks, had go to bar and order them, mixer in one drink was flat, no glass offered for can premixed drink. Garlic Cob and Garlic Prawn entree were both good then food quality went downhill, New York steak was very dry, overcooked and seafood sauce was barely warm. One meal came out with vegetables instead of chips, seafood sauce was left sitting on table for over 5 mins while they took meal back to correct it. Seafood pasta was primarily seafood extender. Very disappointed seeing weren't busy with only our 4 meals to cook as all others tables had their meals before we ordered. This place has so much potential if it had the right management and staff
