The management and staff at Milestones Coffs Harbour are 10 Stars. They go above and beyond for all the kids and treat them like family. The focus on development while making it fun and interactive for the kids. We were very sad to leave the centre due to our family moving. If you get a spot here you can be guaranteed your child will be well looked after.

My daughter went to Milestones (formally Ohana) and I have nothing but great things to say.
She made great friends and her confidence was built up here.
Joanne (centre manager) was always up for a chat and kept us informed.

I can't speak highly enough of the daycare. My child loves attending and has been there since 15 months old and will attend Kindy next year. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and always go above and beyond for all the children they care for. The centre is very child focused and understand my child really well. They have supported my child's sensory, social and communication skills and my child is doing very well in these areas now. They also accommodate to my child's diet and is very respectful of one's culture. I love how my child at such a young age knows of the Gumbaynggirr people and of their culture and history.

The staff here are so lovely and really are there for the kids. We were at another centre in Coffs and my son didn't take to it at all, but since putting him in at Milestones he has been thriving. He loves going to "his school".

Honestly, don’t even look anywhere else, if you want a caring team of professionals to look after your child or children, then Milestones is the place to go.

Where do we even start… the whole team at Milestones go above and beyond every single day to accommodate every child.
Having two children with additional needs, they worked tirelessly to support them and also encourage them to grow and achieve milestones that we were focusing on.
My daughter went from not eating anything but fruit sachets, to trying new food and feeding herself.
Leaving Milestones was one of the hardest parts of leaving Coffs, and we’ll be forever grateful to Jo and the whole team!

I have had 2 children attend this centre. We started when the centre first opened and the centre is the best it's ever been! Recently, transitioning one to kindergarten. Due to the preschool program my son was ready to go to big school even though he "misses his old schooI a lot" and asks to visit! Lucky for him he still has a brother attending so he can drop in and say hi.

Due to being neurodeverse we needed extra help and I worked very closely with the staff in regards to all aspects of his attendance. If I ever felt anything of concern it was easy to bring up with the staff and director and have it addressed appropriately.

Not all daycare's will be right for you and your family but this one is perfect for us and we look forward to the next few years of our journey at this centre.

Amazing child education centre, my sons has been apart of the Centre now for 3 Years, The staff at the centre are friendly and understanding and are focused on providing not only education for children but also guidance in behaviour and development of motor skills, social interaction, arts and crafts and so much more. Every time I pick up my sons there is always a smile at the beginning and end of the day thank you Jo everything ❤️❤️❤️

I would not recommend this daycare. During the time my child attended this daycare she had been given food she was intolerant to on many occasions, my child was hurt my one of there staff members leaving big bruises on her arm and nothing was ever done to that so called “educator”. My 6 month old daughter (which at that time she was only just sitting up by herself) was put on a big slide by another parent all by herself apparently under an educators supervision leading into a big bump on her head and a cut above her eye. This daycare let down my family and also a child that has no voice down on many occasions and nothing was ever done about it. The staff need training on how to look after younger children and also how to communicate with families about what is going on with our children’s day, many occasions when asked all we where told was it was good or they said sorry I didn’t have her today so I’m not sure. After many many talks with head educator Jo, nothing ever changed. Do not send your child to this daycare.
