If possible I would give zero starts. There were 3 incidents that affected my child's safety, health, and well-being. And we as parents are very disappointed with the service staff, management behaviours and practices. The staff of pre-kindergarten room had forgotten to change my child’s nappy an entire day. I dropped him off around 10.45 Friday morning (I put him in a CUB size 6 nappy) and normally this centre uses the Huggies nappy. When my husband picked him up and brought him home (, around 6 pm), I checked his nappy, and he still had the same size 6 CUB nappy on, and it was so heavy, soaked, gauged, wet and with poo. His bottom was very red, and that nappy was tucked to his bottom. And wee, combined with the poo, made his skin very sore and disrupted his night's sleep. Spending 7 hours in a wet and soiled nappy and there is always a risk of a UTI. Once the other day after I picked him up we saw there were two red spots with little internal bleeding in the left eye (white part). And it seemed like something has hit his eye. Unfortunately, none of the educators noticed it or informed us. And no incident report of the incident. We took him to the GP, and he said it would be a pen or a pencil, something sharp. A lucky escape that only hit the white part and not the black side, therefore it did not affect his vision. the Doctor said cannot recommend giving those sharp things to this age group without proper supervision. After I presented my concerns to them, my son was very scared to go to that centre. I strongly believe he was ill-treated or neglected after I presented my concerns to them. My son had never cried like this, not even on his first day at this daycare or previous daycare. Therefore, I went to his daycare without him and explained the situation. They did not care about what I told about my son or how to support him. The only thing they told me was that if he does not come for his last 14 days you have to pay the full fee. We chose this centre with the hope that it would help him feel safe, secure, and care him with love and care. Unfortunately, now he did not have the confidence he had earlier to go to another day-care and it has changed his behaviour for the worst. This is the worst worst centre in Mildura ?
