Outstanding Tutoring Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our daughter Lara has been attending Maths Words not Squiggles at their North Shore location for about a year now, and we couldn’t be happier with her progress. After trying several other tutoring centers in the past and not being fully satisfied, we decided to give Maths Words not Squiggles a try—and we’re so glad we did!

Lara has not only improved academically but also genuinely enjoys the classes. Her confidence has grown steadily each month, and her enthusiasm for learning is at an all-time high. While we support her at home with homework to reinforce her progress, the credit truly goes to her exceptional teachers at Maths Words not Squiggles.

Last week, Lara received the Outstanding Progress of the Year award at school, which was a tangible validation of her improvement. As a family, this was a proud and joyous moment for us—it felt like the best Christmas gift of the year—and we owe so much of this success to the fantastic team at Maths Words not Squiggles.

Special thanks to her Math teacher, Chris, and English teacher, Sarah—both of whom are incredible! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and tailored approach have made a huge difference. After every session, they take the time to meet with parents, providing a quick summary of the day's lesson along with practical suggestions for continued improvement. ([@Sarah, you definitely deserve another smoothie!]) This level of communication and dedication has been invaluable to Lara’s progress.

The only minor suggestion I’d make—though it doesn’t affect my 5-star rating—is their strict policy regarding missed classes. They don’t allow for last-minute changes or make-up sessions, which can be challenging when unexpected circumstances arise. That said, we understand they run a tight schedule, and we do our best to ensure Lara never misses a class.

Overall, Maths Words not Squiggles has been a game-changer for Lara, and we highly recommend them to any parent looking for a top-notch tutoring experience!

My kids actually love going to tutoring which is a strange phenomenon. Miss Zoe has really lifted my daughter's confidence in maths and my daughter has even been moved to the advanced maths group at school. My experience with MWNS has been excellent. They are professional and truly care about their students.
