My experience with MatchWorks case manager, Wendy Tran, has been fantastic.

Wendy has been attentive, and understanding of my personal situation; addressing my concerns. She is knowledgeable about the current job market trends; knowing which jobs are in growing need of workers, and the skills required for the work.

Wendy has been a pleasure to speak to, and has always shown empathy, and courtesy. She has helped me in many ways, and I hope she is able to help others as well.

First off all, the receptionists are friendly, and one has always had a smile on her face when she greeted me. The psychologist Malvika was very helpful and compassionate who helped me with my severe anxiety episode. But it all stopped there unfortunately.

My case manager turned on me at the end, where she forced a course on me that I had no interest in. She told me to "try it" and later she does a 180 turn saying "you are obliged to do it" and she started to yell at me. It was so humiliating, since another worker was sitting there listening as I was scolded for 15 minutes straight.

I thought this was a friendly service, but at the end it felt like an utter betrayal.

I was placed with worker Michelle Yousif who was amazing.

She helped me in what was a tough time finding work. After a long time trying she equipped me with what was needed to get back into work.

They were always happy to help and do what was needed to achieve the result.

Michelle and Laura from Fairfield matchworks are two of the best people I've ever met, they didn't give up on me after such a long time and now that I've started working they still do everything possible to make sure i have everything i need and make sure everything is going smoothly at my new job. I have been searching for a job for quite a while, and my Job consultant Kim has provided me with great guidance and assistance with finding employment.

She is a great person to speak with, and has shown me that she really cares, even going out of her way to help her clients. I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for me and I'm glad I had the opportunity to be paired up with her. She is the real MVP. Thank you Kim!! 10/10

I spent almost 9 gruelling months looking for a job after graduating during the pandemic & it would've all been unbearable if Jobseeker hadn't put me in touch with the wonderful Employment Consultant, Layla Najjar at MatchWorks Fairfield. Layla would check in every month without fail & patiently coach me through employment processes, even reviewing my resume. She helped me search for jobs, giving me various places and opportunities to apply for, until I found the perfect job that I am really passionate about. Even after starting at my new position she has kindly stayed in contact with me, assisting me with everything from helping me reimburse personal expenses I put forward for work purposes to checking in on how my new position is going. Layla is truly a Consultant who would go above an beyond for her clients making sure they achieve everything possible in their job search!
