My son Marcus started to attend Mark it up at Len waters at the beginning of the year after noticing him having trouble with English and maths and not being to concentrate in school. After the first month I noticed him while sitting with him doing his homework and how he was wanting to do it where as before he didn’t want a bar of it due to his Adhd and overwhelming school environment and in just a few months I can honestly say now he has excelled in all areas. Comprehension and re telling the story, grammar and especially Maths he is flying through his times tables I couldn’t believe his able to just look at at his equation and solves it, his easily answering his times table from 1 to 12 which he couldn’t do at school. I’m so happy with his progress and he is enjoying being there every Saturday and also during school holidays. His reading has improved so much and I owe it to the tutors at Mark it up. They are great and as for me, I will continue taking Marcus to mark it up to continue his strength confidence in school work.

I am so grateful for having discovered MarkitUp Tutoring. They have given me the peace of mind I needed, especially post-Covid as homework became “optional” and feedback from the school boiled down to a rushed 10min parent-teacher interview. As a busy mum of 5, working full time, I needed my kids to have the skills and confidence to complete their schoolwork independently without my help. I have initially enrolled 2/4 of my primary school kids into the combined English and Maths class ( years 2 and 5), as I felt they needed more support. Their siblings ( twin pairs actually) were watching on as they completed their MarkitUp homework each week. Soon they were able to complete all their work independently. The siblings who were not doing tutoring would say things like “we don’t do this at school”, or “tutoring homework looks hard”. So I decided to enroll the other two kids to MarkitUp as well. After a term of catching up, they are now much more confident and able to understand the curriculum. I’ve sent my kids to tutoring for a number of years both private and group sessions with different centres and private tutors and can honestly say that MarkitUP has significantly exceeded our expectations. The tutors are young and our primary age children can relate to them very well. They are very knowledgeable and passionate and treat our children with patience and understanding. They know how much to push them so they can get out of their comfort zone. We can’t recommend this business highly enough.

Being a former tutor here for a considerable number of years, I can proudly say that it has been a overwhelmingly positive experience at MarkitUP. Work hours are very flexible and considerate to cater for uni timetables plus work environment was very supportive and well balanced. Administation team was very approachable and accommodating.

During my time here, I've developed and improved on many skills such as effective communication among parents, students and coworkers as well as having partaken in leadership opportunities which has helped me to manage my own time as well students' needs.

Highly recommend MarkitUP. My daughter struggles with maths, normally averaging 50% test results. However since joining MarkitUP 6 months ago she has improved - achieving 80% in her year 8 finals.
