John and the team at maritime training school provide fantastic service - they were super responsive and flexible and kindly arranged a special date to conduct small group training right here (canberra) on LBG. Being able to get the theory and the practical done together was fantastic - we all learnt so much and had a really enjoyable time! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. John is an experienced skipper and imparted tonnes of practical tans safety rips over and above what I would consider the core curriculum. Thanks so much!!

I cannot recommend this school more highly. My 14 year old son and I recently completed our boat license course. The instructors and facility were great. Being able to put the theory immediately into practice on the day was invaluable. Thanks for a great day. We look forward to some future courses to improve our proficiency boating.

I took my granddaughter to Maritime Training School so that she could qualify for her Young Adult Boat Licence.

The course was expertly presented by Mark, who was pleased to answer any question and was thorough and patient.

The practical on-water demonstrations were as thorough as the theory.

I will be sending any of my grandchildren who are interested in boating to Maritime Training School.

Well worth the money.

John was an exceptional trainer as was the rest of his team. Not only do they provide amazing theory coaching but also put you behind the wheel of a their boat and give you some real experience. Even as someone who has been in the maritime industry for a long time, it was fun, informative and a great day. Definitely value for money. The team was stellar definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our son (16) and daughter (14) attended the NSW boat licence theory, exam and practical boat course (option2). The communication was excellent, the course was thorough and well presented and the prac day was the cherry on the cake! We both have commercial tickets and understand there are many schools offering courses and as a result there are many different delivery styles. If you are looking for a happy, positive and professional team these guys are the real deal. Our daughter walked away with the confidence to run a boat and our son is now looking at the coxswain tickets. 5 stars are very well deserved.

I studied at home and then onsite I had the theory with Mark & the practical with John.
I loved it ?
So useful and also lots of fun in the class and on the boat! ️
