Students are disrespectful, rude and oblivious to their surroundings. For a north Sydney school I would have thought they would have respect for members of the public and those around them and to their peers.

Hi, just writing about an incident that occurred on the bus on Wednesday 3 July.
So me and two of my friends were on the bus, minding our own business, when four boys from Marist college started verbally abusing us.
They said really mean comments such as “did you take a shower today?” and whenever we said something, even whispering, they would be like “excuse me, this is a silent bus. Are you talking right now?”, then they would tell us to respect the elderly people on board. Like…excuse me? There are so many other people on board chatting away. Just because we are girls doesn’t mean we aren’t allowed to talk. Furthermore, there is NO SUCH THING as a silent bus!!!!!!
They were also swearing a lot and talking about how they were the victims, and they were going to report our school (NSG) even though we literally did nothing. They gave me and my friends mean looks, we felt very isolated.
Please work with your students on their behavior, this seems to be a common theme in other reviews of the school.

This school has a lot of bad reviews and most of them are accurate but their are some upsides to marist, like it seems to have somewhat nice teachers

Would've given 4 stars. It's really good and worth it but they keep cancelling indoor sport almost every week and took theatre sport off sport selections.

The school has some of the worst students I’ve met and seen would not recommend this school for nice children also I have seen teachers get people in trouble for being in a photo of people all with ice blocks including the person that got in trouble by giving him an after school detention just for being in a photo and doing nothing to anyone else for just being there and if that isn’t concerning that one of the older students took a ball from a younger one and kicked it in his face where the teachers were and they did nothing about it but keep talking too each other so if you ever think of choosing this school the better and more responsible one would be joeys or Riverview

The worst school ever if you are a boy, due to them bringing co education the school system had gotten worse. The teachers don’t care and kids just do no work and disrupt class. They maths system is horrible which is math pathways ( so our year had to put up 2 year with it for them to find out it’s bad, waste of two years)and everyone works at different levels so your child could be falling behind easily. I just don’t recommend going. ( and the language selection is horrible). No information for electives either.

So much for a Christian school. Why are your free traveling students taking up seats on the north sydney buses whilst seniors are standing. It's not the bus driver's job to educate students on how to behave on public transport. It's your job and the job of their parents. Public school students are actually better behaved than what this school churns out.
