I used to attend secondary here during 2017-2022 and this school was one of the most important times of my life. Being one of the repersentitives as a Special Education student. During my time there, my teachers and the subjects I studied helped me have a set career path I'm striving for today.
Thanks for the education. Will miss that place.

This school promotes safety and yet some, not all, low level classrooms can not control their students from being so disruptive, from chair throwing to screaming! It is hard enough for my child to learn and more so now under these conditions. This problem needs to be addressed so those who want to learn can without issues.
Update: Some of these problems have been addressed.

Maitland high has a reputation of greatness! Ive had two children go through this school along with another older generation of my family; all having great experiences and opportunities arising from attending this school. Great teachers make great students!

Maitland High school is a great school, not just for the kids with abilities but also for those with disabilities, my grandson who has autism ASD, has never been bullied here, loves his school, and has been encouraged in every way to achieve the best he can, i find the teachers are wonderful, encouraging and love the kids, and discipline is great, I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a good school 🙂
