Small in size but more than makes up for it in terms of facilities. A bit like Dr Who’s TARDIS it seems to be bigger on the inside, with a choice of eating and drinking spaces, as well as the newer Garden area that is outdoors and a nice spot to enjoy a quiet drink. Conveniently located directly opposite Waitara station so there’s no need to drive.

"Even one star is too generous. The quality of the food was extremely poor. We spent $80 for this meal, and it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. On top of that,we were in the line for 20 minutes and we waited 45 minutes for the food to be served, only to be deeply disappointed by the quality."
The kids burger was overcooked, and burnt, excessively toasted bread. The chips were fried to an excessive degree they were like a stone! The schnitzel was also overcooked, and I had to remove the outer layer, only eating the inside, The salad was not fresh, no dressing so I didn't touch it!!!

Poor customer services, I went last Sunday, I wait 20 minutes for a coffee, the club was not even half full, So I press again for a drink, I mention that I was waiting for 20 minutes and the staff replied, are you expecting for a better customer service?.Also ,always is dirty the smoking area, and the staff is not friendly. The security guy was the only who came to me to know who was my stay at the club,he was great

I just wanted to take a moment to share how amazing Damian, the security guy at Magpies Waitara, has been for my family. Recently, my son misplaced his shoes, and Damian was kind enough to find them and hold onto them for us. It was such a relief knowing that he had our back. Every time we visit Magpies, Damian always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. His kindness and attention to detail truly make a difference, and we appreciate everything he does to ensure our visits are always enjoyable. Thank you, Damian!

Great place to have a drink and listen to good music. Dinner was so so, the chinese dish lamb could have been better, and taste could be improved. The combination dish, not much meat and plenty of bones. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed

A fantastic NYE experience for us! Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner AND entertainment provided by Voodoo Punch was top notch! Suggestion for future: keep kitchen and Cafe open longer hours on such a huge night!! SO many people (myself included) looking for food and sweets later on in the night, who were all left very disappointed 🙏

There's nothing sadder than being tired in the afternoon because you were busy with emergency bookings all lunch hours and now you desperately need a coffee and feed but all the local coffee shops and lunch hours are over... Don't despair, don't resort to petrol station food eaten in the car! Instead go to Magpies Waitara enjoy Delicious traditional Aussie cafe food and coffee, served by helpful and friendly staff in comfy seats in a pleasant environment. Feel civilised and get back to work revived.
