We had a great experience with the food—everything was delicious, and the ribs were especially tender. The ambience was lovely, with great music, and the service was quick and friendly.

However, our biggest concern was our table (Table No. 34), which was extremely sticky. It was very uncomfortable, to the point that my daughter was itching her legs throughout the meal. This made it difficult to fully enjoy the dining experience. While I’m not sure about the condition of other tables, I strongly urge the management to check and ensure proper cleaning.

Because of this issue, I can only give a 3-star rating. While the food and service were good, an unpleasant seating experience can overshadow everything else. The drinks could have been better, but that wasn’t a major issue.

Please address this concern, as it significantly impacts the overall experience. Thank you!

Absolutely delicious meal. I couldn’t have asked for any better. Best ribs I have ever had.
Amazing service and so fast and efficient. We had a 6:30 booking and had order eaten and done by 7:30.
It got a bit noisy as more people came in but that can happen when you have large numbers

We had a great time having late afternoon Drinks.
Beers were extra cold, just what you need for a hot day.
We decided to have some food and ordered the Honey Ribs, Caesar Salad, and Chips, everything tasted so good, Ribs was the best I had in a long time.
Have to mention that the service was spot on.

We visited Lone Star last October and ordered the TEXAS RIB RANGER for $85—their signature rib tower with beef and pork ribs, grilled over an open flame and smothered in barbecue sauce. Perfect for two. It was served on a tiered tray, and the waiter warned us we wouldn’t be able to finish it. He was right.

Today, we ordered the same dish. My wife specifically asked for the tower, and after checking the menu, I ordered the TEXAS RIB RANGER for $85, expecting the same experience as before. However, when our food arrived, it was not served as a tower. When I questioned this, I was told they no longer serve it that way. The portion was also noticeably smaller—yet the price remained the same.

Very disappointing. Not only did we finish everything, but my wife—who weighs just 48 kg—was still hungry and had to eat more food at home.

We also ordered a Margarita and a 1-liter beer. The ribs and meat were excessively fatty and nothing like what we had enjoyed in the past.

We attended here last night.
Our soft drinks were flat.
There was no aircon
(We picked inside as we have a 8 month old thinking it would be cooler than outside - turns out the breeze outside was cooler than the whole inside)
The tables were wooden with holes in them & very sticky - just off putting & gross really
We both got chicken schnitzels & the crumb legitimately tasted like the chicken powder you get in 2 minutes noodles.
The seasoning they put on their chips is unpleasant (a mix between perfume & flowers)
The dessert for $15 was this small block (lava cake) & it wasn’t even hot (warm & gooey - was written on the menu)
For $93 it honestly wasn’t worth it being a standard pub feed.
Not to mention both my partner & I were in turns on the toilet the second we got home.
I can’t fault the service.
We were ordered, ate & left within 60 minutes
But it’s not for us & we won’t be returning.

I went to the lonestar in penrith today with my 6 year old because I had some friends tell me the kids meals were free during the holidays and decided to give it a go. Usually not the type of place I’d go out to eat at but I was pleasantly surprised. Was nice and quiet, service was prompt and the waiter was friendly and polite. The quality of the food was a lot better than I expected. My daughter got a kids burger with chips and couldn’t finish it all because it was a decent size so I tried some and the meat was juicy and tender, great quality. I got a southern fried chicken burger and the chicken wasn’t greasy, burnt or oily tasting. It was perfectly juicy, great flavour and a good size. Even I struggled to finish mine. Also loved the chips. My daughter then got the DIY sundae which is something you don’t see anywhere else and we loved the concept, and it was only $5!
For my main meal, the kids meal, a kids size coke zero, the kids dessert and table water it was only $28.50 all up due to the free kids meal. Very impressed and will definitely be back 🙂

Had a family dinner new years eve. I have absolutely nothing negative to say.

Plenty of parking available. Fantastic atmosphere. As we walked in we were greeted by the door and taken to our table. Multiple smiles and acknowledgement from staff which was lovely.
Drinks order were taken shortly upon arrival. Kids received their colouring packs as soon as we situated at the table.
Great selection of food on the menu, excellent cocktail selection, and once ordered, all food arrived at the same time. Steak and ribs cooked to perfection.
As night went on, place got busier, however service was well and truly brilliant thoughtout the night.
Deserts are yummy.
Again, absolutely no complaints.
Great place for a function, family night out or even a lovely lunch.
High recommended.

Great service, tasty and appealing dishes.
My friend and I had lunch/dinner here on the way home from Mt Victoria today (24/05/2024). We also had lunch here in June last year on the way home from Blue mountains. The foods has always been great, and i like the atmosphere of the restaurant with wooden chairs and tables, and nice fittings. Today, we have had steak with mashed potatoes, and lamb sharks. The staff member there said that the lamb sharks was the new dishes and hasn't been put on the menu yet. My friend liked the lamb sharks, but I like the steak more. We had the chef brought the food out to the table and introduced himself to us, I think it's a nice gesture and I am glad to meet the chef as I was curious who would cook delicious foods like this and the decorations of the dishes was appealing and nice.
I wished they have sweet mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes chips in the future. Also, the steak dish was a bit pricey in comparison to other restaurants in other suburbs in Western Sydney, and the dish would be nicer and healthier with a little bit of vegetables such as a piece of carrot and 2-3 pieces of green beans.
