To all parents looking at high schools for their children, please strongly consider Lismore High School. 2024 was a great year for Lismore High. Students are supported well. Teaching staff are supportive of kids and the curriculum is the same as any other school. Embrace your local public high school. Fantastic teaching staff, great opportunities and if our community backed it then it will simply get better.

I have four children. All went through Lismore High. The eldest has headed to University of NSW to study science, after being well supported throughout year 11and 12 ( with Covid to contend with). My second child completed the HSC in 2024. She is also heading off to uni and was well supported to succeed in the HSC.

This school has lovely staff that generously give opportunities and support to students. It isn’t perfect…but there is no school that is. It seeks to support students from a wide range of backgrounds, within the resources that it has available, and does a great job when kids are keen at supporting them to grow.

Local parents keen and willing to support our precious public schools, should not be afraid to support Lismore High which is a very competent and capable school ( without the fees). It might not be glamorous but it is a school that is honest and ever seeking to improve. It is well resourced and has supported my children to achieve well.

absolutely amazing. 10/10 go there. dont spend money going to other schools lhs has all you would ever want. teacher are very nice to you and students make you feel welcome
