Bowen library is a great library.

It has a wide variety of books, toys, games, magazines, DVDs, quiet spaces, educational resources and much more.

The school holiday activities are also very good as is the coffee shop downstairs.

Bowen Library is my happy place: wonderful atmosphere, staff, books and online services, and other users. As a resident of Randwick Council, you should use it. It gives you free access to reading you normally have to pay for; author talks, book clubs, meetups, English language lessons, games, movie showings, art displays, children’s learning and play mornings, tonnes of activities in languages other than English, multicultural activities, arts and crafts classes, exercise classes; AI, 3D printing and other computer-based lessons; and timely displays and reading recommendations. Bowen supports the breadth and variety of local citizens and their enthusiams, and is a safe haven for all. The noise is respectfully low, and the coffee in the foyer is excellent. What’s not to love!

I have been attending QiGong and Tai Chi classes at The Bowen Library for several years, everyone are always very polite and helpful. This morning I went to book again for the classes and because I was also booking for my daughter. It was a little more complicated, but thanks to a lovely patient lady Jody she was amazing and patient. Thank you Jody

A great place to study, have lots of books to cover your courses as well as knowledge. Lots of space, study tables and pods. Do visit if you want to have your work done with zero disturbance. Loved it!

A wonderful space - bright and airy with two walls of glass windows looking out to trees - divided into different areas: e.g. tables for studying and working, armchairs for browsing, bean bags and cushioned benches for lounging. Lots of courses for all age groups.

The library is located on the first floor; take the stairs if you are mobile because the lone lift is extremely slow. There is a water dispenser near the snack machine on the first floor if you wish to fill up your water bottle.

This library is wonderful! You can expect:

- a great adult fiction range (plus YA, children, and chinese fiction)
- LOTS of great cosy places to sit and read quietly
- BOARDGAME library and TOY library!
- "red hot reads" - hot books right now with a 1 week borrow limit and no renewals!!!
- friendly staff!
- probably even more than i had time to explore - it was much larger than i'd expected!
