I celebrated my 40th on a boat skippered by Jason. My guests & I had the best day on the water in Sydney! Jason & crew looked after us! Jason was friendly relaxed & firm on the rules from first contact. He kept us all safe whilst ensuring we were comfortable & looked after. All whilst enjoying an awesome 6 hour cruise & a perfect position for the 9’oclock fireworks. Highly recommend Jason.

I’m new to boating and i recently purchased my first boat - 35tonne steel cruiser. It’s a handful to operate and daunting for a first time boat owner. Lucky i found Jason!! Jason has been teaching me all aspects of boating and marine safety - he covered off topics like how to get a boat licence, how to perform engine checks and basic systems maintenance, pre start boat checks, navigation markers, how to operate the radio, checking in and out with Maritime, reading the water, tides, steering and how to not hit the wharf. After a handful of sessions both Jason and I took her out for her maiden voyage between Lake Macquarie and Cronulla. Very exciting and successful trip. I highly recommend Jason for his skill, knowledge and patience with a new boat owner.

We hired Jason to skipper our newly purchased 35ft Bavaria yacht from Sydney to Gold Coast. We could not speak more highly of his professionalism, easy going nature and expertise. We we would absolutely recommend his services if you are looking for a skipper for your yacht.

Having very limited sailing experience ourselves, we asked Jason if we could join him for the trip, and make our delivery a 5 day & night “lesson” on our boat.
We were a little concerned how we would go confined on a boat with a person we didn’t really know, especially since we expected to be rather sleep deprived during the trip. However Jason turned out to be great company, full of entertaining stories, a wealth of technical information even offering some great advice on how to stay “married” while dealing with the stresses of sailing. ?

Jason went above and beyond our expectations, not only helping us with sailing & information on how to use all the different systems on our boat. He taught us how to provision for the trip, detailed passage planning, how to correctly log in with VMR over VHF, we stopped and did some anchoring, and parking techniques in a marina etc.

If you are looking for a highly skilled, well priced, professional and the peace of mind that your boat is in safe hands, Jason from Lee services is your guy.

Captain Jason Lee is a first class Captain, a gentleman, a patient saint and an absolute all-round legend. After purchasing our first catamaran, we engaged Jason to come and help us learn the ropes (or the sheets & halyards to be precise). Jason’s depth of knowledge was immeasurable- from dealing with a faulty black water tank to electricals to water systems and everything else in between, he was a saviour as well as a teacher! Nothing was too hard and sensible practical advice was the order of the day. Jason was exceptionally calm and patient with us as we learned to sail our catamaran, and he even taught us how to fish. I can only sing his praises and say that if you don’t have Jason come and captain your boat, you’re missing out big time.

My daughter had a great 17th birthday, with her friends cruising around Sydney Harbour with Jason as the skipper. Despite the rain he took them to a safe swimming spot where they had heaps of fun. The food was great too. Can only recommend.
