The park is really nice and relaxing.. love the birds and all the plants.
Nice picnic undercover tables where you can also enjoy the rain dropping on the little lakes.
There are toilets too.

IMO one of the most secluded, serene and family friendly parks I've been to. It literally ticks all the boxes from ample parking, clean toilets, BBQ, drinking water and amazing views.

As soon as we exited the car we commented on the Peace the surroundings brought to us. An amazing place, not well publicised but that may be a good thing for the people that know about it.

A beautiful, peaceful place to visit if staying in Young. Easy walk across the bridge and around the garden. Lovely pond in the middle with a water wheel. The sound of the water adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Just after we finished our walk, a group of ladies turned up for what was obviously a yoga meet. What a lovely place to do some quiet stretches. Worth a visit.

Our lovely Chinese Gardens are a must see when you visit Young. A lovely area for family picnics and BBQ (provided by the Council). The gardens are Chinese inspired. The pagoda, which has a lovely view over the water, has recently been renovated, the perfect place for quiet contemplation. A path winds around the lake with viewing areas at different intervals. The pathway is lined by rocks and attractive plants. Autumn colours dominate at this time of year. The waterfall and water wheel provide relaxing water music. Ducks, wading birds and swans paddle on the lakes. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Beautiful any time of day.
