The furniture in the room was extremely uncomfortable and very basic. We both experienced back pain after sleeping in the bed.
No cooking facilities apart from very old microwave and limited crockery and cutlery, only 2 pieces of each. Washing up had to be done in the very small bathroom sink. Are cabins this basic nowadays?
Door did not lock at all with electronic swipe, a bit of a worry.
Location was great, but we will try somewhere else next time.

The location is pretty great to catch a sunset in the afternoon, beyond that would not recommend. Cockroaches were everywhere - had to kill at least 3 in the room. And we were woken up by the staff with heavy knocks and being shouted at for not checking out on time (fair enough but could have been handled a little more professionally).

This place was disgusting. Booked for two nights and left after one. Photos on website are not what we got. The bedroom was so small and hot. Claustrophobic. Wanted to use a bbq but they were so rusty you just would not cook on it. No sink in kitchen, sheets stained and bed runner dirty. Can’t leave open front door unless you prop a chair in front of it. I paid $410 for two nights and it was a pet friendly room but I was sent an invoice for $399 and the reception had charged me $410 on my card without showing me or giving me the chance to put in my pin and then said I had to pay more for the small dog which was already included in price. I would not give you $100 for this room. Never again would I go there. Even when I booked I got two different people who did not seem to know the correct price as they each have different prices. Just hopeless. Avoid this place.

I was worried when I read the poor reviews after I booked the place. However, after staying a night, I thought I should help provide a fairer review for them. At least for room L107 that we stayed in.

At under $200 a night for a standard triple room that is clean, it was good value.
Being near the main road, this place may not suit light sleepers as you can hear the occasional trucks at night. Hence 3 stars for location.

It looked like they have renovated the place. While the workmanship was not that great, everything is functional and clean.

When we we checked in got given an unrefurbished room which wasn't what we had booked. After speaking with reception got a new room that had been refurbished. The room was okay but definitely needed a good clean; walls were filthy, unpatched holes in walls ect. Appliances were okay but TV had a dodgy remote. Overall our stay was okay but wouldn't be back.

DISGUSTING!

Booked a family cabin. Before entering the room the Varenda was disgusting, chairs were extremely dirty with bird faeces, when entering the room it smelt so disgusting that we had to leave the door open. The lounge/fold out bed was filthy with dirty smudges all over it and some sort of animal hair, walls were dirty, the cupboard had 2 holes that were filled with toilet paper, 3 bathroom tiles were lift and would lift completely when standing on them and a hole between the tiles and bath/shower and dirty bedding.

The WORST place I have ever seen, this is such a health hazard and completely unsafe to stay at. When I advised them and requested a refund I was told that the manager would only approve a refund for night 2 of our stay and not night 1. Absolutely embarrassing that they expected my family to stay in a room that was so disgusting and unsafe.

I advised them of my wife’s health issues and disability but clearly the manager does not care about people and is only scamming people for their money

I have photos and videos of everything and as I don’t have my money back will be reporting them to fair trading, health authorities and any other applicable regulator

The room is clean, and the decoration looks fairly new, although the flooring panels are seperating in places. However, the bathroom is tired, and the toilet seat is broken, but there are plenty of towels and toiletries supplied.

Very disappointing. I am disabled, and spent Thursday night there. I booked a room with what I thought was going to be a disabled access shower and bathroom, months ago. I got a confirmation email confirming this. When I saw the bathroom and shower, it clearly was not disabled access.Not even rails in there.There was a hob to get over before I got into the bathroom, and ANOTHER one before I got into the shower. My NDIS support co odinator spoke to the lady before I booked, and said that she looked at the shower online, and it appeared to have a hob. Samantha was told that all was good, as this was an old photo, and the situation had been rectified.I am on a walking frame. The bathroom was very small, and because of this, I had to leave my frame outside the bathroom, and I had to "feel" my way in. My support worker put a chair inside the shower for me to sit on. The space in the shower was ten times worse after he did that. He had to put a chair to the side of the shower for me to sit on when I got out, as if he had put it right in front of me, I would not have been able to close the shower door. There were no rails anywhere in the shower or bathroom, so I had to carefully hold onto the glass when getting out of the shower, then once I got over the hob, I had to make my way to the chair. I am happy to say I got out alive.My support worker went to reception, on my request, to ask if I could get some money back, as I paid $165 for this room. I was refunded 20 bucks. On top of this, to add insult to injury, on returning to our room, my support worker told me that the room I was supposed to have, had a guest in it who had been extended and WAS NOT disabled. This change was not conveyed to either myself or my support worker when we arrived, let alone beforehand. Surely the lady who took my money knew of this change? She said nothing to us. It was obvious to me that I had been deceived. Why was I not informed of this change prior to arrival at the motel? I will not be back.
