Lakes Grammar’s grass is the most flavorless, disappointing excuse for vegetation to ever exist. If grass had a seasoning rating, this one would be rated negative salt. You take one accidental bite (probably from getting tackled in sport), and suddenly, you’re chewing on something that tastes like cardboard soaked in disappointment. Meanwhile, over at St Eddie’s, their grass somehow tastes like a fresh McDonald’s cheeseburger—juicy, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. What are they feeding their soil? Big Mac sauce?

Lakes Grammar’s grass, on the other hand, tastes exactly like the canteen food: stale, lifeless, and possibly expired. One bite, and you question all your life choices. Was that grass, or did someone drop a sock in the dirt, and it just blended in? Scientists should study how this grass manages to absorb every bad flavor imaginable while still looking green. Honestly, if the school wants to make money, they should sell it as punishment food—one bite and kids would be handing in assignments a week early.

Moral of the story: if you ever feel tempted to taste Lakes Grammar’s grass, just don’t. Go to Eddie’s, roll around on their cheeseburger-flavored fields, and wonder why life is so unfair.

This school is kind of a joke if even that. The school talks about no homophobia, no racism, no bigotry, etc, but that’s only ever talked about in promo material. In reality the school just sits there and watches kids bully each other and use homophobic and racist language without any punishment. not to mention that the only way in which the homophobic/racist/bully would get in trouble is if a teacher was right in front of it and if the teacher wasn’t in front of it well “it didn’t happen” or the teacher would just tell the bully to just say sorry the the person they were bullying, like “sorry” and apologies don’t fix everything and a wished the school could understand that. This is the same school that let a child in year 6, a year and a half ago, bring a knife to school and hold it to another kids neck and threaten them and others. But since the kid is neurodivergent (or something to that degree) they get away with it. My friend’s son was touched inappropriately but another student and the only repercussion was for the guy who touched my nephew inappropriately was to say “sorry” and the whole thing made my nephew really uncomfortable. There’s also an uncalled for obsession with the “new” Middle School and The really only “good” thing about the school is the Counsellor which is honestly better than some of the teachers. The school is more focused on uniforms, promos, appealing to parents, looking like a nice school (but then not being very good). Not to mention that my nephew and his friends reported a “friend” using homophobic slang on his friend who is gay and that fake friend doesn’t get in trouble because he’s special needs. Special needs shouldn’t cancel out the terrible that they could use against another student. It doesn’t matter if they know the meaning of the words or not (which they should if they’re even going to use slurs). And the school doesn’t really give a crap about kids with physical disabilities and kids with neurological issues are treated like babies and perfect angels that need help every few seconds like some sort of royalty out of a show. The school talks about supporting LGB but there isn’t much of that besides talk to my knowledge and that gay parents have had to hide being together during an assembly - it’s disgusting in this day and age that people are still hating on that. The fees are also huge and for what the school is like it isn’t worth it. The whole school honestly isn’t good at all and my husband and I ain’t planing on sending our future kids here anytime soon, if at all

There have been some really good changes over the last year or two. I know that some families have been unhappy and that is pretty normal when change happens. The introduction of the continuous reporting system has been a game changer for our kid, he is thriving. I also like that the school has cracked down on behaviour because our son feels very supported when there is an issue. I am really happy with the direction the school is heading.

The one star reviews are true. I struggle to say anything positive about this school. In no way does the school live up to its values. Perfect school for mediocre kids who will achieve a passable HSC result, and parents in SUVs who want to drop off their kids and tell their neighbours that little Sammy gos to a 'Grammar School". Unfortunately the school is far from it: racism, bigotry, no tolerance for disability and god forbid if you are separated from your partner - they'' breach your privacy rights in a flash. Once I took my kids out of this 'school' they thrived.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE
"We Foster An Inclusive Environment Where All Are Welcome & Cared For."
What a lie
You are only welcome if you pay full fees.
We are a low income family due to disability
Could not give an honest response as to why we were denied an adequate amount of bursary assistance after an intensive application which was worse than going for a home loan!
The enrollment officer Ms Jolly was rude in email correspondence and the Principal Mrs Clancy was even worse. Didn't even have the decency to call back when asked by the head office and also when we asked in a polite email.
She emailed saying to look for alternative arrangements for our sons schooling.
You did us a favour Mrs Clancy!

I went there for 5 years and teachers wouldn't do anything about bullying besides bring you into a meeting. Mrs Clancy ruined the school for everyone letting kids run around with knifes in classes if your thinking about coming here reconsider!!

We relocated and removed our child from this school and then were hit with the first term of the next year's bill demanding a full term of school fees for lack of notice. Last year a child had brought a knife to school and threatened a child and was running round the class with a knife. We got a text message stating an incident has happened at school today and child may have witnessed. What a terrible message to send everyone was wondering what happened to there child. Maybe wyong public would be a safer school at a much lesser cost
