Highly recommend the Kumon program and the Balgowlah centre and educators.
You can very quickly see your child’s improvements in speed and accuracy. Our daughter is doing the Maths program and is in year 3. Very happy!

The maths program has been wonderful in teaching my daughter the importance of consistency and repetition. Kumon is also invaluable in providing structured support to cultivate the discipline of study that I hope she will be able to use for all her school subjects and life beyond. Stephanie is very attentive to individual needs and continues to encourage through her many distractions which has seen a significant improvement in both focus and maths skills!

We highly recommend the Kumon method for teaching mathematical skills and providing a solid mathematical foundation. Our two oldest boys enjoy Maths and Kumon provides them with the opportunity to learn at their own pace and build on their mathematical learning at school.

We also found the Kumon teaching environment prepared the boys for school - giving them an environment to develop focus, self-learning and writing skills.

We’re very happy that the boys are starting their school years with a strong grasp of Maths. Stephanie at Kumon Balgowlah runs an excellent centre and works closely with each family to tailor a program that suits each child!

Kumon Balgowlah worked really well for our two high school kids. They found the weekly practice of maths equations helped to improve their school grades and the discipline of doing them weekly was also helpful. Kumon has been a saving grace for my kid's maths education. I cannot recommend it enough. Stephanie who runs this centre is not only dedicated but she really has your kid's best interest at heart. I can always communicate our struggles and successes to her and she makes it a point to tailor the progress to each child. My advice is to stick with it and you will see the benefits. Perseverace pays off... my children are now 3-4 years ahead of their current year syllabus all thanks to Kumon. It teaches them discipline and problem solving. I highly recommend you give it a go and stick to it because you will see results.

I highly recommend the Kumon Balgowlah. My son in Year 3 started English Kumon when he was Year 1, and it has been great. He goes to a Japanese bilingual school, and I chose Kumon to support his English while he everyday learns Japanese at his school. Kumon English gives him more confident and solid self-learning skills so that he now has stronger focus on his own studies. Steph from Kumon Balgowlah has been very supportive, and I am very glad that we chose Kumon?
