Summer

In total I went there in for about 3-5 years, can’t really remember.

But during those years, it was great at first. I learnt so many tricks of English words to help memorise them better. Having a learning disability was quite difficult. So, Jenni helped me with the most part, she was great, funny, makes sure that we are on task but also lets us have a laugh here and there. She can multitask quite easily and knows when someone is struggling and jumps in when she isn’t with a student. She knows when you still don’t get it, and explains it in a different way if needed.

The reason I’m giving it 4 stars, is because my last and final year I was there, I didn’t get the help I needed. She would only explain once and go to a different student.

If I tried to make conversation with the boys in my group or to her I would be shush down, where as if the boys made a conversation with Jenni or the others. It would go on and on. Maybe being the only girl student and she got sick of me and I was just being annoying. Either way, I took it personal and left. Which I wish I didn’t and stayed until year 12.

But thank you kip for helping me, I’ll never forget you guys and the memories I had, Learned a lot of maths than English as I got older.

My son started with Kip McGrath 3 years ago, he enjoyed the first session so much that he commented he wanted to go every afternoon on the way home. He could not believe how nice the teachers were so patient, no question was ignored and there was always enough books and computers for everyone. I choose Kip McGrath because of there honesty, I knew he was average and after sitting for an initial session that was the exact feedback. A general consensus around the school yard about tutors was I would be told my son is below average so I would feel I would have to enrol him but that was not the case here, I was given genuine feedback. I enrolled him because my goal was for him to be confident entering High School and not fall behind, so we tried it for at first 6 mths then we could review. We have long surpassed that plan. Jenny and the Team at Wallsend have given him so much confidence that he set himself goals to progress to the highest level in Maths by year 10. After receiving 100% results for maths in his final exam this year he has achieved the goal he set himself back in year 7, thanks to the encouragement and support from the team. I have always personally found the team very approachable and nothing is ever a problem. I would not hesitate to recommend Kip McGrath as they offer so much more than just teaching. Thank you Jenny, Chris and team

Expensive and was in a group with other kids at a table, tutor didn't go to me once to help me with my school work, not even a single question.
