I had done a few lessons elsewhere prior, but KBL takes the cake. I called at 9am when the wind was looking good, and they were able to fit me in for an afternoon session. Aside from my great Instructor Vit, the helmets with radios is an excellent training tool. Having an expert in your ear giving you live feedback is the best way to learn. They bring a bunch of gear to the beach in case you need anything extra too.

Hi, I had an awesome experience with KBL - Kiteboarding Lessons! I was a bit afraid of the kite before doing the classes, but the instructors Tobi and Vit were really cool and taught me all I needed to know to enjoy the sport. After the three lessons package I was much more confident and able to go out by myself. I highly recommend the school and the private classes as you spend a good time flying the kite. It is an amazing sport and worth the investment. I am addicted to it now!

I would not suggest you go for boat session if you have never done kite surfing before or you haven’t ride the board with stable performance and haven’t been practice kite control for quite a while. It s inefficient and pricy.

I learned here right before the COVID, I m not new for kite surfing but I almost forgot everything when I first came to KBL, I told my concern to Vit and he suggested me go for boat session directly. I trusted him but to be honest I was quite struggle during the whole session, I did everything with rush on the first day as my brain was not clear what I should do, though Vit tried to tell me every maneuvers as he can. Because after long time away from this sports, I need to review the key of maneuver first and practice on the beach to get more confidence, then back to the water.

I did my kite maneuver session at last 2 hours out of my 6 hour package with another instructor, Sorry I forgot he is Alan or Tobi(it’s been a while), but I m more happy from what I learned on that session as I got more sense about kite instead of rushing ride the board with out clear clue. I feel I m learning systematically and got more confidence from that. I can feel this coach teaching is more in a methodical approach. But unfortunately I didn’t finish my whole learning as planned as we experienced poor wind on that day. What i m not happy with is that NO ONE told us in advance that the wind may not good until we arrived, Vit was not there on that day, only 2-3 learners on the beach, seems everybody knows that day is not the right day.

I would say all three coaches are friendly when we interact, but for the experience I got, it’s not good, I didn’t finish my learning. And the professional advise I got seems not that customer oriented. Only after 4 hours boat and 2hours beach sessions, I understand what missing in my learning progress, and why I m frustrating my self at the beginning and how can be more efficient next time.

Anyway, just share this info to other people who want to learn but don’t know which way to start.

Wow, what a difference KBL’s kite surfing boat lessons made to my kite surfing progression! No wasted time body dragging to retrieve my board or doing the “walk of shame”. My coach, Pablo, would retrieve my board using the boat and have it back in my hands to begin another water start within seconds. Then, once on the board, I received invaluable feedback from Pablo via a helmet radio which really helped me make adjustments “on the fly”. I was able to do the most runs ever in the one session and even started to go upwind. I had such an exhilarating time and a smile on my face for the rest of the day! I finally understood what it felt like to be a kite surfer!!!

I went from 0 kite experience or knowledge to be able to do it on my own in 4 lessons!

I highly recommend the lessons and also Pablo as an instructor. He was very patient and his instructions were spot on! He would always ask me if I needed a break to rest and he was very good at demonstrating the movements I had to do, so I could antecipe what was going to happen once I had the kite on my hands.

The highlight of the classes to me was that I could receive instructions through a speaker on my helmet which really accelerated my learning as I could focus my eyes on the kite and bar while listening to instructions.

My first lesson was a gift from a mate, and now I’m hooked. So highly recommend it as a gift ideia!

Tobi was the person I dealt while booking the classes and he was very good in communicating with me through the whole process. He kept me up to date on weather conditions and on the possibilities to keep or re-schedule the lessons considering the best outcome for my own experience.

The only topic I believe could improve is if I was given a theory material to study prior to the classes. I overcame that by watching youtube videos before the lesson so I knew what to expect beforehand.

Overall super happy with the experience so thanks KBL team! I’ll certainly be back for more 🙂

I just had training with Tobi and Allen of KBL. Despite adverse weather on my appointment day, Tobi made sure to notify me when conditions improved and arrange for the lesson. The pace of instruction was great, very clear and hand’s on. The next day the winds were not expected to be good, but when they became ideal Tobi arranged the next lesson with Allan. Also a great experience. He was very accommodating and adapted quickly to the pace I needed. I had fun and learned a lot. I highly recommend KBL.

I had an excellent experience with KBL. I took 4 private lessons with them and was trained by Tobi, Pablo and Vit. They are all good and know ins and out of kitesurfing and very good in teaching it. Their support continued even after I finished my lessons and they help me whenever they are on the beach. I would definitely recommend them if you are into kitesurfing and you don’t know where to start.

He has been very supportive、 positive & is heaps knowledgeable about the sport.

Instructors are always happy to answer questions & provide help.
Glad to have learned from KBL!
