I'm not usually the one to go and write a bad review about venues but I'm just absolutely appalled at this childcare centre.
Firstly the centre is run by under qualified, unreliable employees who dont know how to run a Friday nigth meat raffle
My granddaughter was In the babies room when she started to get sick constantly we then found out that there was a mould infestation through the rooms resulting in the children having to sleep on the floor which is a unsafe sleep practice and quite a few other appalling things I have discovered which I will be taking further this centre should not be open for business as its unsafe for children and does not meet any hygiene standards I'm shocked it's still up and running definitely glad my granddaughter is being pulled out wouldn't send my dog here

We love Juniors at Wamberal! The owner, admin staff, director and educators are all so lovely and welcoming. My daughter loves going here and she has since day one. She runs into the arms of all her educators. Sometimes she doesn’t even want to come home as she is having too much fun and loves it there. I worked in childcare for a few years so I was nervous choosing a place I didn’t know for my daughter. But there are no regrets what so ever. The educators are amazing! We are extremely happy and would recommend Juniors to anyone.

AMAZING DAYCARE - Like NO other!
I cannot write this daycare enough praise, as it would go on for pages.
From the first day I sent my daughter (who was 1 at the time) to Juniors at Wamberal, we have been thrilled with the care she has received.
As a parent, it is imperative to feel at ease and relaxed when sending your little one to be cared for, and this is exactly what Juniors ensures. I can call at any time of the day to check on my daughter, and am always greeted with reassurance and understanding.
My daughter runs into the arms of EVERY educator at Juniors, and I can see how much they genuinely care about her. This warms my heart.
Every day that she is in their care, I get a lengthy update about how her day has gone, what activities she has enjoyed, her mood for the day, and photos of the day in action!
I could go on and on, but I won't. All I can say is that I would travel an hour, if I had to, to send my daughter to this daycare. They are honestly the best out there. You won't regret putting your precious cargo in their care!

I had my children enrolled here for 2 1/2 years. The first year was fine but then the centre director left and everything changed.

It is such a terrible centre and I regret not taking my children out sooner. They have such a high turn over of staff that it became impossible to remember anyone’s name because they weren’t there long enough to remember. If the staff aren’t happy, how can we expect our children to be happy.

Their staff ratios are questionable and my daughter was bitten often, on the last occasion, the educators were aware but yet they did not advise us, my daughter told me that night and showed me the bite mark on her shoulder. I understand that this type of thing happens but the fact that staff were aware and did not tell us is unacceptable.

They don’t transition the children all together, the move them on their birthday and in my experience send them up by themselves without any friends or familiar educators which is very disruptive to their routines and meant we had around 6 months of resettling each time this occurred.

As a working parent, this centre made it impossible for me to go to work for a full day. Nearly every day that my children were at this centre, I would get called telling me to come and collect one of them. If I didn’t have he support if my mother in law, I would have had to leave my job. Reasons for sending them home included ‘she had a sore ear’, ‘her leg hurts’, ‘she doesn’t seem herself’, ‘she needs extra cuddles today’.

Since changing to a new centre, I have not been called once during my work days and my daughters are absolutely loving the new caring and learning environments and educators who have been at the centre for years, which makes a huge difference. My three year old came home after her first day at the new centre and said “mummy, I made so many new friends at my new school today... and no one bit me.”

The 5 star reviews listed here are from staff so my recommendation would be to do the research, ask people who have been to the centre before you consider enrolling. The time will be worth it in the long run, not all childcare’s are the same.

A wonderful centre for children and staff. The children are engaged in play as there is plenty of resources for the children. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Juniors at Wamberal!
