My two children had a wonderful time at JK tennis. They sometimes don’t like participating in school holidays programs, but this time they had their cousin and 2 friends from school attending. When I picked them up they were telling me how fun the water battle was (I packed spare clothes - the email advised us there will be a water battle on Fridays). I was a bit worried about if there would be enough lunch for the children, they said there was plenty of pizza, fruit and Ken also offered hot noodles later in the afternoon.
Highly recommended school holiday program.

If Google had negative scores I would give them negative scores instead of one star.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this tennis school. My child attended their holiday camp, and one of the activities was a water fight. However, we did not receive any notification or reminder to bring a change of clothes. As a result, my child ended up completely soaked and had to sit shivering for more than an hour.
During this time, my child repeatedly told the coaches how cold they were, yet no action was taken to ensure my child’s well-being. It is unacceptable that the coaches did not offer any help or ensure my child was properly taken care of. I couldn't believe they could watch two kids (my kid and his friend, both first-timers) sitting there shivering and not doing anything, at least they could give them some hot water, or call us parents to pick them up early. But they did nothing, even ignoring my kids' expressions.
When I picked up my kids, their lips were purple, so I had to take them home immediately to keep them warm. After these, I called Ken , the person in charge of JK Tennis, again to ask about this, his first reaction was not to feel sorry, but to keep making excuses.
I couldn't believe that such irresponsible teachers who don't care about children can continue to teach. I will tell all my friends around me, including you who are reading this comment now, that this school is too bad, unbelievably bad.

My kids have been learning tennis for four years. Ken and his team make the lessons fun, engaging and strive to build confidence within kids towards recreational tennis. My boys are older (10,13) and usually refuse holiday camps but they like Ken’s tennis camps because they get a mix of recreational play, meeting other kids of all ages and getting along.

My daughter had a great time at both camp days she attended and wishes to go again and hopefully fosters a love for tennis in her.
Thankyou for planning great days. She especially loved Chloe as her coach.
The provided lunch and waterfight on Fridays was looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed. It was communicated to me that a water fight would be occurring on Fridays and I packed a change of clothes accordingly. If I didn't want my daughter to participate as the day was colder than hoped, I would have communicated with Ken and coaches. I understand there are upset parents because of the weather on the day, but I weighed it up myself and knew my child wouldn't resist a water fight. I cannot fault the care my daughter received.

I'm just really disappointed with JK tennis! My son attended their school holiday camp program. The kids had fun and were fed, so their food and activities were fine, but I found their attention to caring for the wellbeing of the kids lacking. The first day he attended was one of the hotter days in summer. Their email stated that they will "ensure that the children have sunscreen on". My son came back sunburnt and when we questioned Ken about it, he said words to the effect of "I let them know I had sunscreen, I can't make them put it on". This doesn't sound like "ensuring" the kids have sunscreen on. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and enrolled my son in their program for another day in the following week. One of the pre-planned activities was a water pistol fight. This day turned out to be one of the coldest and windiest days of summer. When I went to pick up my son, he was completely drenched, like he had just been HOSED down! His lips were blue and he couldn't feel his fingers! He had been sitting in the cold and shivering for an hour! When I asked what happened, one of the organisers told me that we were told to bring a change of clothes in the registration email. We've been over that email several times and it is not mentioned at all! We had no idea the plan was for the kids to get drenched! Knowing the cold conditions, no one in their right mind would let kids get that wet, and knowing they are wet, why would you leave them shivering in the cold without offering a towel or to call the parents?! It just doesn't make sense. My son came home and has been sneezing all night! There just seems to be a pattern of lack of care for the kids!

my kid also went through a terrible, freezing day today. Honestly, schools and teachers like this shouldn't exist. I've never dealt with someone in charge who’s so eager to dodge responsibility and shows zero accountability. They made my child sit there soaked for over an hour in this cold weather! And then they had the nerve to say it’s not their responsibility because the child didn’t inform them. Seriously? Couldn’t they have just called the parents?
