These guys are absolute legends!
I just told them what I wanted to achieve and they got me all sorted out. Just had to tap and go.
- My project was adding tail lights to my RC car with existing headlights.
Last time I held a soldering iron was 20 years ago.

Store is also super clean and the 3D printing range is huge. Worth exploring.

Great shop with large selection and friendly staff. My experience has been tainted however after dealing with the young manager as I attempted to replace my 1 year old GME radio (5year warrantee).

Manager was clearly experienced and knowledgeable however he denied several times that the product was faulty despite seeing a serious issue as we tested the radio on the counter.
After he conceded that the speaker on the radio emitted ZERO sound he went ahead with the warrantee process whereby he insisted he "special order" the same unit taking up to 6 weeks.
All I requested was we replace the faulty unit with a more expensive unit off the shelf where I pay the difference.
This process was unbelievably painful as he insisted his "bosses" wouldn't allow the UPSELL!
Much deliberation later he finally agreed, I paid the difference in cash and he apologised for being creating a painful experience...
This episode has left me a sour taste as I frequent the store many times spending $1000-2000 each year

Horrible customer service. Bought a drone, which I was told is under warranty. My 5th flight of the drone and it drops from the sky. I provide all evidence of the flight of the drone, how it fell from the sky with receipt. After being initially told it'd get replaced, I am then told that you fly the drone at owner's risk and there is no warranty that covers a software glitch. Would never buy anything fro Jaycar again after this level of support.

The lady at service desk today 13/9/23 12:20pm was very unprofessional, claiming the battery is not refundable item which is obvious not true. Stop LYING please.
