I cannot recommend ICC Canterbury enough. For the last eight months, my daughter (3.5 yo) has been attending the Kindy Ninjas class on Saturday mornings. The class is learning disguised as fun and broken up into little segments. She was really quite shy and quiet in the beginning but persistence paid off (thank you all the coaches!) and now she loves it!

All the coaches are super patient, kind and just great with kids - being high energy or calm as required.

What’s also really great to see are the assistant coaches in each kindy ninjas class. These coaches are older kids/students who have gone through the younger kids classes themselves, and are in turn, helping out the head coaches in the younger classes as part of a leadership program. I hope my daughter would like to participate in the same when she is older.

Aaron is a very knowledgeable and super supportive coach. ICC has a family friendly atmosphere and everyone is so welcoming, no matter what level you're at. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Highly recommend ICC for anyone looking to start their BJJ journey.

ICC is a very great centre and my son looks forward to his Friday karate classes. The instructors are very accomodating and makes the training a fun experience plus i love the mat chats where the kids can share their thoughts and experiences on specific topics.
