Great organisation for both clients and providers. There are some improvements that need to be made to improve quality and efficient interactions between clients and providers. It can be a little difficult to find work initially, but overall, HireUp provides a great platform to be able to find work.

Too invasive - Should have read the other reviews before creating a profile including confidential data requested just so they can ‘approve’ me getting services; after all the trouble and booking in for someone to call me so they can approve, no call or communication from Hireup. I will stick with Mable as my provider

After the experience my son had with this forum I wish I could put zero stars. Completely ignores privacy and asks for information that goes beyond what is necessary for a 3rd party to have access to. IF there is anything a potential support person needs to know, that can be shared at a meet and greet. That's it. They then put his account on hold so you can't even access it to delete it yourself. We have asked more than once now for them to delete it, or at least let us in there so we can do it ourselves, but no response from them. I will be contacting an ombudsman if this isn't sorted out asap.

I was planned to go on to Gold Coast for week. It took me to me 3 months to find the right carer. The carer that he was great. We had a ball and I was the first for him too. He knows all places in Gold Coast.

I've been working with Hire Up since January last year. It has taken me a little while to get enough clients which is the case where ever you work. The good thing is you can search for clients who have similar interests. I didn't hesitate in contacting people. I went for met ups, some people became my client others didn't.

I have a great group of clients. All of them are working toward achieving meaningful goals, my hours are consistent which enables me to work on my own personal goals.
