My boys have been coming since they started primary school. It is an excellent way for them to learn discipline, self control, gain confidence, get exercise and a sense of self worth and achievements. The instructors are outstanding. They make the classes fun, yet maintain calm and control at all times. They articulate that martial arts is not about fighting, rather self defence both in a verbal and physical context.
It is a great way to make new friends as well. Classes adapt based on age bracket and skill. The staff are passionate about their students, and ensure they learn properly. Highly recommended to anyone considering giving it a try for themselves or anyone they support.

All the staff members are very good and mainly my daughters teacher always greets with smiles and do the best to ensure that the children can learn martial arts happily. The dojang is spacious and making it great for children to exercise. The parking is also convenient, making it easy for parents to drop off and pick up their children. Highly recommended.

HDMA runs a custom dojang in Dural. The staff are friendly and very capable, the location is easy to access and has plenty of parking and compared to other gyms and martial art school it is good value. I have trained with my son for about 5 years now and have no intention of stopping any time soon.

My 6 year old daughter has been attending since the start of the year and she loves it.
The teachers are all friendly and the kids all have so much fun with the variety of skills they learn in a manner that keeps them focused and attentive.
Each session builds on their skills and they all finish the lesson on a high.
They are very welcoming with a free trial and I’d highly recommend them to anyone who wants their kid to have fun and let off some energy as well as learning the respect and discipline of martial arts.

We joined HDMA around 6 years ago and my children have thoroughly enjoyed it. We love the culture and instructors at HDMA. They are inclusive and supportive yet teach discipline and self-belief. My daughters confidence has grown so much during her time here. The goal of moving towards attaining different belts is motivating. There are opportunities to compete if you choose or just take classes if you don’t want to compete.
