Big thanks to Leah for her outstanding service!!! She assisted me with a serious matter I couldn't get support from anywhere. After reading some comments and a few disappointing past experiences I thought I had no chance with this organization. However I gave them a try. The reception lady was very professional over the phone. Lesson learned as long as you provide "HONEST" & ACCURATE information they may be able to assist keeping in mind every matter is assessed on a case by case basis. Every case is different from the other. Thanks & best of luck to everyone

So my daughter was trying to get a nils loan. She is receiving disability payments. Basically, Shyarma, at Hiils CommunityAid, who handles nils, told my daughter that because they don't know her level of disability, they can not process her application. This clearly discrimination. They take it directly from Centrelink payment to pay back the loan. Why should it matter a person's disability? I will be officially putting in a discrimination complaint.

Absolutely abhorrent behaviour and attitude towards people with disabilities. You gaslit and proceeded to make slanderous accusations and deny service to an autistic person seeking assistance from your organisation.
You are now going to be investigated by Good Shepard, the Australian Human Rights Commission, and may find yourselves in a case in the federal court of Australia for breaches of the disabilities discrimination act 1992.
This organisation in my experience and opinion is disgustingly inept with horrible attitudes.
