We are very happy to have our Dad cared for at HammondCare North Turramurra. Our Dad has been there for a year and a half now. He recently needed to move from medium care (Waldegrave House, which we loved) to higher care, for his advancing dementia and falls, in the Boronia section. The staff managed the move seamlessly and he is so beautifully cared for, we could not have hoped for better. They are very welcoming of all three of us daughters hanging about with Dad and it feels like a true community, with other residents and families, along with the amazing staff. Definitely 5 stars.

I can’t begin to thank Hammond Care North Turrumurra enough. The staff at Boronia Lodge, who specialise in dementia care are kind, caring, professional and highly skilled. My brother has settled in to the warm ‘home like’ environment. The facility is modern and well maintained. Robert enjoys all the activities, especially the pet therapy visits. Staff are always available, prompt in their responses and obviously enjoy working there. Robert has complex multiple issues, which have all been managed to outstanding positive outcomes. My mum had a such a caring, safe, positive, and loving stay at Boronia Lodge - a high level dementia care unit at Hammondcare North Turramurra. She was surrounded by a dedicated team that felt like family. We will always remember the respect, dignity, love and comfort the whole team gave her and our family. Now that Mum has died...
I still highly recommend Hammond Care. When Mum was approaching death, the wonderful team at Hammond Care took such good care of Mum, providing specialist end of life palliative care during her last days. She was moved into God's waiting room, a beautiful place where Mum spent the l last few days of her life. It was a lovely peaceful room filled with the love and care of the people there and a warm, compassionate environment for Mum to be in as she passed from death into life in Christ Jesus ?

My original review....
My Mum is in HammondCare North Turramurra. The staff look after Mum very well in every aspect of her care and the facility is also well looked after. The work they do is difficult because of the frailty and various medical conditions that the residents suffer from and they go well above and beyond what I thought would be provided when Mum first went there.

My sister Jennifer was supported by Leighton lodge for a lengthy time before moving to a group home. The staff provided a safe caring loving home for my sister. Jen made great friendships and will miss her daily routine with team LL. Thankyou for looking after Jen in her time of need we look forward to visiting in the new year.
