The motel is old but the rooms have been renovated. Very clean, comfortable beds & the manager most helpful. As we had takeaway pizza, the manager supplied dinner plates & wine glasses for our use.|Bathroom good size.|Between 2 main roads but quiet.

We stayed two nights in a queen room. The bed was firm but comfortable, but the room looked in need of TLC (Tender Loving Care = maintenance !). There was no hanging rail for clothes in the wardrobe. The room had a microwave and a toaster but no cutlery or plates. There were no wine glasses in the room. This is in the middle of a region renowned for its vineyards, so why not? After we checked in mid afternoon there was not much hot water which the manager "fixed". The next evening there was no hot water for showers. We boiled the kettle and washed. Wi Fi failed on the second day and we could not reconnect. The bathroom needs maintenance as do sections of concrete outside the rooms which are potential trip hazards. At $150 per night, it was very poor.

Gulgong Motel is in a good location within easy walking distance to places to eat and visit. I liked the location as it was not right in the main street but in a much quieter area. |Our room was a great size and clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking and a really affordable price. |I would stay here again for sure if I was heading back to Gulgong in the future. |It is a lovely little town and well worth a visit. The people are every friendly and the town is lovely and clean and plenty to see.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Due to emotions I booked the wrong night on a booking site. All it took was a phone call to the most patient staff member ever. He transferred the booking to the night I actually wanted without any questions. The room was clean, roomy and modern. Easy parking and easy check in.

A good motel in a strategic location, walking distance to the main Street. Rooms are comfortable, good hot shower. Parking is a bit tight, bed was a little bit on the firm side. No one checked us in, had to phone the number on the door to find the key

Our room was very compact, but was OK for the night. Bed very comfortable; bathroom was modern. Very easy stroll to Mayne Street. The owner was quite friendly and eager to please. We would stay here again because when visiting Gulgong we are mostly out of the room and visiting the historic buildings. The pool looked good, so families with kids would probably be very happy in the hotter months.
