I have trained at GB Penrith for almost two years now and I have loved every moment of it. Through the gym I have made great mates as well as significant achievements with my fitness and weight loss goals. This is almost entirely due to the amazing culture that Jason has created, he is a great teacher and pushes his students to achieve their goals whether is be weight loss or further their Jiu Jitsu skills. I highly recommend training at GB Penrith to both kids and adults who are looking to start a new hobby and make gains in their fitness/weight loss journey.

About 6 months ago I decided to start my 5yr old son in BJJ and picked GB Penrith. My son loves it! Professor Jason is great with the kids and they respond very well to him. The atmosphere was so good that I decided to join and do the adult classes…I have been loving the training! Professor Jason has created a real sense of community and the people in the classes I take are very friendly. I highly recommend GB Penrith for both kids and adults!

If you've ever thought about starting but on the fence, this is the gym for you.

I started here with no experience and nervous to begin, I have found this to be an amazing gym to learn and train. Jason encourages an awesome team culture where everyone feels comfortable from day 1 and is full of knowledge and experience, I hope to be training here for a long time.

My initial idea to try BJJ at 37yo, 5f.6, 68kg was what some would describe as insane but what I found was insanely fun!!! . Prof. Jason has curated such a welcoming, friendly and safe space that now my 6 yo daughter loves attending. Gracie Barra Penrith is a place I feel I will be attending for the rest of my jiujitsu life. Thanks Prof and crew.

I love GB and Jason's a really great instructor. There's never a bad session and the people are great. being a girl its easy to get a bit nervy when you start but everyones really welcoming and always happy to help you improve and jason works hard to keep a great culture there 🙂

Started with goals of getting fit and try to make friends. 2+ months in and i have lost 10 kilos, met and made good friends. GB takes pride in making the space friendly and welcoming and teaches you values that will make you a semi decent person outside the gym. Good people and great training partners.
