I joined Gracie Barra after watching my kids do it for two years. The coaches and staff have built a real community there and I feel welcomed and included in all the classes and events they run. Everyone is willing to help out the beginners and I’ve learned so much in the 4 months I’ve been training.

I tried out the 4 Ju-jitsu gym in Bondi Junction and I found Gracie Barra to be the best regarding class structure, coaches, layout and timetable. We are lucky enough to be trained by Coach Wilson. He is a man of knowledge in the feild. An excellent teacher in the field of Ju-jitsu however knows how to have a joke in the meantime. He goes beyond to show you the foundations. I feel like I have learnt an absoute tone in the 4 months of being coached by Wilson. I definitely recommend to this place. Great environments for learning and having a great time! Classes are structure in funtemntal skills and open mat. Great combination to learn skills and the apply them to rolling. All members are so helpful also. Everyone wanting to grow together!

As a white belt, I like how they teach you the foundations prior to letting you roll. This enabled me to avoid any injuries.

My son has started BJJ in Grace Barra Bondi 7.5 years ago. They have very skilled and dedicated kids coaches, providing world class training environment for the beginners and also for the advanced kids . The Gracie Barra Bondi developed and constantly evolving one of the best kids competition program in Australia, that keeps producing every year many Australian champions.The gym has a very warm atmosphere and supporting environment, welcoming everyone to join and try the art of brazilian jiu jitsu . Many kids have chosen to travel here from different Sydney's suburbs, while having local bjj gyms next to them .You can't be wrong to bring your kids here . While learning bjj kids are getting more confident , disciplined and making a lots of friends . 💯% recommended to try !!!
