A Perfect Dining Experience at Mariners Cove Bistro – Gosford Sailing Club

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mariners Cove Bistro at the Gosford Sailing Club. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning waterfront views and the welcoming atmosphere. The bistro was packed with diners, which is always a great sign, yet the service remained attentive and efficient throughout the evening.

We started our meal with garlic bread, and it was perfection—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with just the right amount of garlic and butter. It set the tone for the delicious meal ahead.

My wife and I shared the Seafood Linguini, and it was an absolute standout. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the seafood was fresh and generously portioned, all brought together by a rich and flavourful sauce. My daughter opted for the Chicken Schnitzel, which was golden, crispy, and tender, served with perfectly cooked sides. Her husband chose the Angus Burger, which was juicy, full of flavour, and stacked with quality ingredients—exactly what you want in a great burger.

To top it all off, our drinks were mixed and poured to perfection, complementing our meals beautifully. Despite the bistro being full, the kitchen delivered meals in great time, and the portion sizes were generous, with flavours that truly impressed.

With its fantastic food, great service, and unbeatable waterfront location, Mariners Cove Bistro is a must-visit. The buzzing atmosphere only added to the experience, and it’s clear why this place is so popular. We’ll definitely be back!

Delicious fresh meals. All at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Friendly staff, great atmosphere and lovely views. Beautiful spot to go for a walk after dinner also. Will be a regular.

Good service, great value food and spectacular views over the water. The bistro restaurant offered great value, everyone in our group loved their meals. The bar and waiting staff couldn't have been friendlier. This is a great venue to book for a family get together where everyone is sure to find something they like.

Absolutely amazing !!
When it comes to quality food, great service and value for money, this is one of our favourite places. Great spot to have a meal and enjoy the views of waterfront. Staff also seem friendly and nice.

We had lunch here today with our daughter and her husband.
We had garlic bread to start with but to be honest, we loved it so much we ordered a 2nd batch!!
Mains was the seafood linguinie which my husband and I shared and my daughter had her favourite go to, the chicken schnitzel with salad, chips and gravy and her husband had the beef burger and chips and gravy.
My daughter finished her whole meal, (so unlike her), and her husband did the same.
The seafood linguine was absolutely full of flavour!! If I could have fitted it in again I would have!!

Could not fault the food, the service or the friendliness of the staff and Manager who personally served us as well as a lovely female server.

Thank you Gosford Sailing Club for a fantastic lunch.

Worth the 45 minute drive for us to experience flavoursome seafood and a wonderful dessert as well. Great options available for anyone looking for a light meal or to tuck into a full bodied steak meal. We only felt like a light lunch. We were not disappointed. Spanner crab toast, seared scallops and butterfly tiger prawns were all we needed to fulfil our seafood craving. Omg.... cannot begin to explain the flavours you are given with every bite. Finished with the lemon meringue with raspberry coulis pistachio and icecream. 5 stars for flavour ✨️

Good food for a club and reasonably priced! Bright and modern decor. Very friendly and positive staff, great service! The menu is limited but still some reasonable choices. Located on the edge of Brisbane Waters and recommend lunch for water views, but you will need to book first to avoid any disappointment!

Great place in Gosford! Recommend for a nice lunch or dinner.
Visited Gosford Sailing Club Bistro for Dinner. Ordered Oysters, Seared Scallops, Zucchini Flowers, Buratta Salad, Seafood Linguini and sweet potato fries. Everything ordered was full of flavour and freshness. Highlight were the Zuchini flowers!
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, surpases some of the food at other clubs in Sydney.
Definitely will recommend this place to fanily and friends if they're visitng the area. Thank you for a great experience.
