Where do I begin? The only good thing I can say is I made some good friends here - though there wasn't enough communication between us to maintain it, so it fell apart. May have been my fault, may have been both, but not entirely theirs.

The bullying is rampant for sure. I was a student here through the early 2010s, and most of their students' primary education came from Gorokan Public or Toukley Public. And I already wanted to eviscerate students *and* staff when I was at those schools. So you can imagine having to deal with alumni from both.
I had lashed out so many times against bullies through my years, that I actually once had a nightmare in Year 11, that I had been expelled and had killed the principal in response. Sometimes I wish I did, but 99% of me is glad I didn't.
Many of these bullies are also part of a gang that hangs out at Lake Haven, founded by a fat inbred dropout who called my barebones attempts at eloquence on Facebook, "Retardedish". Some students did respect me for trying to stand up to him, though.
There's basically zero security there, either, being right next to a shopping centre. A less-significant band of delinquents broke into the school one weekend, smashed windows, destroyed art projects, and stole supplies.
Their 'special needs' class is also offensively patronizing, but that seems to be the case for the whole department - as an autistic student with high-enough function to remain in regular classes, I was occasionally forced to interact with the special needs class, and it took every ounce of energy to not snap, because I knew it wasn't the kids' fault.

Overall, the understanding for individual students' needs, the fairness of discipline, and willingness to target external issues, are all dumbfoundingly abysmal. Anyone who chooses to enrol their child here, is conspiring for that child to take their own life.

The behavior of the students I see from this school down at lakehaven shops and McDonalds lakehaven is appealing. Before or after school or they treat the bus stop at lakehaven shops like there own most of them don't get up off the seats so an adult or elderly or people who need a seat can sit down. They spit and carry on like it's their bus stop and not the general publics bus stop as well. I wouldn't send anyone to this school.

The volume of bullying that goes unaddressed is ridiculous. My son has been punched, kicked, had his belongings constantly thrown out the classroom window and threatened and yet the school does nothing.
Thankfully the Deputy head teacher appears to be more interested in ending this behavior than other faculty.

Went through the selective class from year 7. I learnt everything I could ever need to know to accomplish my lifelong dream of delivering pizzas for the rest of my life. 10/10 would wag English again.
