I am so happy with my decision to enroll my girls at Goodstart Early Learning, West Pymble. The educators here are amazing, and their genuine connection with the children sets them apart from other centers. It’s clear they care deeply about the kids, and it shows in how happy and engaged my girls are every day.

The director, Surya, is equally wonderful. She is always open to feedback and listens carefully to any concerns I bring up. What stands out is her willingness to take action and continuously work towards improving the center. I truly appreciate her dedication and leadership.

We understood how difficult it is to find educators who are genuinely passionate about their job—people who love working with children and have the patience and dedication needed for such a demanding role. Even as a parent, handling just one child can be challenging, let alone caring for four or five at a time. So, with lowered expectations, we enrolled our child at Goodstart West Pymble—and to our surprise, it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
Within just two weeks, my little one made good friends—something that never happened in the previous center over two years. I never saw any child actively approach my shy and quiet little one before, but on the very first day at Goodstart WP, three peers welcomed him and played with him for the entire session.
There was an incident where a little girl scratched my child’s face, leaving visible marks. However, instead of simply dismissing it, the educators used it as a teaching moment. They guided my child on how to stand up for himself and express his feelings when faced with unkind behavior. After two similar incidents, I discussed my concerns with the educators, and they fully supported my desire for my child to learn to voice his boundaries firmly and assertively. They not only encouraged my child to speak up but also worked on educating the other child about appropriate behavior.
Beyond social and communication skills, the educators at Goodstart WP create an engaging and enriching environment. They set up various play stations, innovative and beautifully designed crafting workshops, storytelling sessions, and singing activities. My child, who never showed interest in crafting before, now absolutely loves it, thanks to the thoughtful activities at the center.
Among all the wonderful educators, my child has a special fondness for Songyan, Clara, and Da Na. He often excitedly shares stories about what he did with them, and I am incredibly grateful for their care and dedication.
Last but certainly not least, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to Surya, the center director. She has been absolutely amazing, making the entire enrollment process seamless and handling all the administrative work efficiently. What I appreciate most is how she takes the time to listen, understand unique family circumstances, and go the extra mile to offer thoughtful solutions.

My little one loves the centre! All educators are so friendly and caring. My son loves his educators Stephanie and Doris at the Toodles room. Communication with parents is excellent. I always feel informed about my son’s day, thanks to their regular updates, messages and photos. The new director Surya also very friendly and often provide timely feedback about my son. I highly recommended this centre!

Goodstart West Pymble is a wonderful family-centred childcare centre. The staff are warm, kind and nurturing. They have created a lovely space for children to learn and play with a large outdoor space as well. The educators are always happy to chat at the end of the day, as well as provide photos and updates throughout the day. Being a smaller centre it feels like a big family that we are happy to be a part of!

Goodstart West Pymble is a wonderful community! Our little ones have loved their time there playing in the big backyard and enjoying all the activities and learning they do with their educators. All the educators are so nurturing and engaged - and being a smaller centre all the kids are truly known and embraced for who they are. Would highly recommend this centre if you are looking for a warm, caring and fun environment to spend their daycare days!

Goodstart West Pymble is a fantastic daycare centre. My two boys felt at home almost immediately, they enjoy the daily activities and always learn something new which they share with us. The outdoor play area is also one of the best I have seen - it gives my boys every opportunity to stay active. The team are brilliant too, led by Surya, Da Na, JoJo, Stephanie, Clara, Shirin...and the rest (sorry I can't remember all the names). The team keep my boys very engaged and excited. I have no hesitation recommending Goodstart West Pymble to any parent looking for a daycare centre.

We moved to the area just before my 2nd daughter was born just over a year ago & was not familiar with any childcare facilities in the area. After having such a fabulous experience at my eldest daughters day care (in another area of Sydney) my expectations were high. I visited several long day care centres in the West Pymble area & I knew almost straight away after walking into Goodstart it was the one! It just felt right because of the people.
My daughter started in the nursery in Feb 2018 & we have been so happy. Liz went out of her way to accommodate the days I required to return to work, orientation was relaxed & filled me with confidence & the care since then has been outstanding. The ladies in the nursery are beautiful with the children. Genuinely caring & supportive, creating a relaxed & happy atmosphere which has made my daughter feel safe & comfortable so she’s settled in very quickly. Having consistency of carers at drop off time has also been a positive experience & helped us with settling in at Goodstart. I walk away each morning feeling good, knowing that my daughter is in safe hands & is going to enjoy her day. The massive outdoor space is a bonus too.!!!
