The place has been in perpetual crisis since our son joined in 2023. The staff turnover is unbelievable. We had thought things were getting better but they are as bad as ever.

Nobody responds to emails. Children are blamed for the failing of the centre. Every day there is a new slew of casual staff who will not know your child.

Complaints lead to empty promises of change, action plans and follow ups from management - none of which ever seems to be actioned or communicated

Some of the staff are fantastic - whilst they last.

I cannot recommend this centre.

I have hesitated to write this review however after 18+ months it is clear this center has an enormous issue that management are not taking seriously.

High staff turnover, multiple center managers, lack of care plans for children, poor communication and high turnover of children are some of the main issues that persist at this centre. Having a baseline comparison from 2 other childcare centers who are excellent (both CBD and locally) this centre is seriously underperforming and has not addressed some of the identified issues from families despite constant feedback. In this time, there have been a very small handful of excellent educators who do their best with what they have. But a large systemic issue remains.

Until the above is addressed, it is not a viable option. There are plenty of amazing centres locally, I'd recommend looking into these first.

** Also take some time to carefully look at the reviews, some of the most recent are fake/reviewers based OS and not in relation to the business and the others are from 3-7 years ago!

Our two kids have been at Goodstart MV for over a year and they really have a wonderful time at school.
The educators are always so lovely and caring and our children are confident little learners as a result.
The facilities are spacious and offer a huge variety of activities. The food that Caz prepares is wonderful and they are always so careful not to feed our daughter dairy.
The hours are long which is incredibly important for us to be able to do our jobs. We are so thankful for this wonderful daycare centre!

My son has been attending Good Start Mona Vale for a year and we absolutely love it. The staff and carers are so loving, fun and professional. The love they all have for the kids is so genuine and makes it such a nice experience for all the family! The convenience of having food and nappies catered for makes getting out the door in the morning much easier! We love it. ❤️

I have had the privilege of both of my children enrolled at goodstart Mona Vale with nearly 10 years between them. When my first child started there I found the staff to be super friendly, caring & gave a sense of community. Now 10 years later with my second child there is no difference. All of the staff genuinely care, provide fun, educate and give regular feedback. Both my kids love running through the gates. With Covid there have be some harder times but the Centre maintained their care & support for all the children & their families. There’s nothing better than to drop a child off happy & pick them up even happier. From the director, staff and kitchen team, its a wonderful place x

Our little boy (almost 2yo) has been with Goodstart Mona Vale for 1 year now, and we are so incredibly grateful for the amazing staff and facilities.

His educators have been patient, thoughtful, compassionate and professional. I know that when I drop our little one off for the day that he will be safe, given the attention he needs and cared for.

The outdoor play area is beneath big, beautiful trees, and they have fun and creative activities to keep the little ones moving and inspired throughout the day.

We have recently changed from 2 to 3 days per week, and will soon be attending 4 days. With my own small business and another baby on the way - none of this would be possible without the love and support given by Goodstart Mona Vale.

Wonderful, friendly and caring daycare centre. All 3 of my kids have had excellent care, and developed long term relationships with the teachers. They offer a great variety of activities, and the preschool curriculum means they are ready to embrace school.

Goodstart Mona Vale make great use of the massive outdoor area. Being located next to Mona Vale School Before and After School Care means you can drop off and pick off kids at the same time, which is so handy. I would definitely recommend Goodstart Mona Vale to nurture and care for your children.
