I've just completed the "Creative Camera Controls" introductory course ( 4 * evening classes) given by Paul. Great course, great value! The course was kept small, and very interactive, with plenty of opportunities for all of us to ask questions. A nice mix of explanation and (a bit of) theory, plus lots of hands on exploration and guidance about how to really get the best from each participant's specific camera. Paul is a walking talking encylopedia about cameras, and his enthusiasm is infectious. Who knew my camera could do all that clever stuff, and what I could use it for? Well Paul of course. Like I said, great value, I highly recommend the course.

Participated in a five day photography course with Paul. The class of 15 all were very complementary towards Paul and his enthusiastic teaching approach. The river photo I’ve taken since the course and with lessons learnt I caught the best part of sunrise.

I completed the 4 week course with Paul in March. I learnt so much about photography skills and techniques, how to use a camera and look after it correctly. Our group of 4 were eager to learn as much as possible from Paul as he is very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our questions. Nothing was ever a problem. I learnt so much about my particular brand of camera and tripod. The small homework tasks gave us the opportunity to practice what we had learnt and the feedback was very beneficial. I am very keen to do the day classes/outings with Paul to take my photography journey to the next level. Hopefully I will be able to join a Lightroom course with Paul in the future as well. Fully recommend this 4 week course with Paul.

Paul is a wonderful teacher - full of knowledge, passion, patience and humour. He is a walking encylopedia about every camera in existence (pretty much! 😉 ) and has a very engaging teaching style. I loved the practical exercises to help really integrate the theory. Highly recommend!

I attended the 5 day 1/2 day DSLR Beginners course at Camp Creative. Paul is a highly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, approachable teacher who structured the week and lessons (theory and practice), so we learnt progressively, each topic building on the next, accumulating in increased confidence and capability by the end of the week. Paul has an amazing level of extertise and knowledge and is update with all key camera brands and photographic technology, so could seamlessly guide every student through the learning at the same time. I would highly recommend attending photography training with Paul.
