My daughter started at FLA in March 2023 and was new to daycare. The staff and director were so brilliant with her and worked really hard on helping her to adjust. The spaces are beautiful and there are so many educational activities planned. The staff that my daughter interacted with were just so wonderful and you could tell they really loved what they did and cared for the children. My daughter loves day care now and I put that down to the work of her educators.

Where to even start... my kids attended FLA since the opened last year. in the first few months 4-5 staff members had left 3 of them telling me that I should move the kids.. I brushed this off to be angry ex staff members.. there was a few bumps in the road I gave some slack being a new centre its all learning curves. this year then came around and it was issue after issue with my 3 year old .. including a staff member man handling my child, dragging him down a hallway outside of cameras few by his wrist my son has since cried to be saying "no mummy * will hit me" and the operations manger brushing it off, lied about it, and ignored the problem until I went to department of education with the incident myself .. following this the operations manger then dropped my sons days saying his behaviour was unmanageable and I quote "my staff will go on stress leave because of it". staff had to apologise to me for the way the O.M was treating me & not a single staff member agreed that his days needed to be dropped or that he was stressing them out so much they needed to go on stress leave. after my sons days were dropped without even a meeting just an email breeching their own policies, we received our fortnightly statement where they were still trying to charge full fees for the days he was no longer allowed to attend & for 20 HOUR sessions. I sent an email asking for this to be corrected to which the O.M replied saying it was my fault for not signing my child in and out of the centre I sent proof of sign in and sign out times for the 20 hour days and asked for an apology for lying too me about why they were charging me she told me I was being Rude and attempting to intimidate her ... this all from a woman who I've seen speak to children poorly and had her staff tell me she bullies them ... I was blocked from their Facebook page while my children still attended when these issues started happening in march when I asked why myself and my kids dad had been blocked she ignored me.. my name was forged on documents and when I brought it to their attention was told it was fine because it wasn't actually my signature also document Was meant to be given to me almost two month prior to me actually receiving it ... another child went missing in the centre and was left outside by herself .. my child was threatened by an educator that if he wet his undies again he'd go back into nappies while we were toilet training... bite marks that couldn't be explained ....

more then once I had to remind the O.M to be professional as I was a parent and I won't be bullied .. once she even got the director to call me to try smooth things over with me after she had breeched her own polices... she would sign the directors name on emails she had sent and when I would address her by name shed act like It wasn't her the whole time but it would be a give away when she wouldn't know things that the director and I had spoken about in person that day or refer to the director in the 3rd person ..

while some of the staff are beautiful and the director tries her best with an O.M who bullies children, staff and parents if you don't agree with her or stand up for yourself or your children I would not recommend sending your child to FLA unless you want them leaving with some childhood trauma. I now have sever anxiety about ever leaving my children at any daycare..

I hope the owners read this and have serious look into their management and what is actually happening at this day care ..
