The staff are friendly and the gym is undergoing significant investment with some new equipment, refurbishing of the pool and toilets, which is great. There are still some clunky old machines that are a bit broken, but there’s more than enough variety for cardio or weights. My only criticism is that the rear weights room is a boys club and the music is customer-controlled, unfortunately: you will 100% suffer hearing damage unless you wear ear protection. I measured the decibels on my phone app at about 108. The owners might want to limit the volume on the iPad or reduce the power of the large speakers a bit. Until then I’m wearing my work earmuffs.

Love this gym. With all the support kindness and encouragement I have now lost about 80kgs. I love the rpm and sprint classes. The instructors are amazing. Always made to feel welcome. Thank you to all the staff, you are all absolutely fantastic. -Kylie-

This gym sucks, or rather the employees suck. First time, the guy behind the counter didn't bother get off his chair to show me where the hiit 30 class was. "Just follow the group, that's where they're going." Turns out the last person of the group wasn't going to that class and I lost the rest of the group. I had to interrupt someone's workout for "directions". Then the trainer doesn't bother checking on the members. I was lying down towards the end to avoid fainting, didn't come to check to make sure I was okay or offer some cold water. "I didn't see you, I'm sorry." Then why are you there if not to make sure we're doing the moves correctly?!?! There were like 12 of us, the class wasn't over crowded. This is what 23$/week gives you, employees, not trainers.

The facilities are fine, staff aren’t overly talkative but are pretty nice. I found the weights area of the gym was a bit of a boys club and felt very intimidating to go into. Meanwhile, there were men occasionally in the women’s gym so it didn’t really feel like I had a safe place to work out. Ended up cancelling my membership and working out elsewhere.

Came to Orange as a visitor on a business trip. Fitness Perfection is an excellent gym; well equipped with free weights and machines, plus the always excellent Matrix cardio machines. Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me a tour of the gym before my workout.

Lovely little gym. The staff are awesome - perhaps the most friendly I've encountered in a fitness centre for some time. I'd really love to give five stars but the gym stops a little short in only ONE aspect. A part of the facility is 24hr which is fantastic, but unfortunately all of the really useful equipment is locked in another part of the facility and inaccessible if you train outside of these normal hours of operation. I'm sure this doesn't affect most people during the week, but on weekends, it's definitely a let down. All in all, I will always come here. It reminds me of gyms back in the 90's that were staffed with enthusiastic people and a variety of different types of equipment. If I could offer one bit of advice to the owners - put extra cardio options in the 24hr zone that are newer than what's there.

4 stars for awesome friendly staff and I absolutely love attending this gym regularly but only one issue.. I think there needs to be a separate pool for swimming lessons as for hydrotherapy pool is never available when wanting to use due to all the swimming lessons taking place. I think either a separate pool or think about reducing weekly classes so it's fair to everyone. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of swimming lessons but it can be very annoying when you actually need to use the hydrotherapy pool due to medical reason and is often unavailable most times due to classes
