Scott , Dylan and Mel are exactly the kind of coaches I want in the gym. It is a community first and foremost and they are genuinely invested in their members progress and make the effort to get to know everyone’s names at the very least. I would recommend to anyone like myself who wants to avoid the typical gym junkie culture and train in a welcoming and inclusive environment .

First Grade Fitness is a great gym to train in and is suitable for all fitness levels from beginner to seasoned trainer. The coaches are knowledgeable and will happily accommodate any individual requirements. The classes offer a positive and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable to perform at their own level and reach their goals.

I followed my trainer to this gym (I live outside the area) and highly rate it as a friendly space for all types of people. I used it in 2018-2019, and I’m back there again this year. Scott the owner is incredibly welcoming, and it’s one of the best places I’ve trained in (with lots of racks!).

It's been a little over a year since I left Maroubra but if I could rate this gym 6 stars I would.
You will improve so much, not only physically but technically which is a massive plus moving forward.
