Here, I had a great time getting to see and touch koalas, wallabies, kangaroos, and quarks up close. In particular, taking a commemorative photo with a koala will be an unforgettable memory.

And I was able to meet many kinds of birds with really beautiful voices. In addition, I was able to see many reptiles - lizards, snakes, etc., and it was informative to see the explanation of the snake's body structure and bones.

The size of the zoo is suitable for visiting with young children. There is a large parking lot and convenience facilities where you can eat snacks. There is also a souvenir shop.

It is a good choice if you visit with family or a lover.

This is a great wildlife park. You can hand feed some animals which is fun. Every time we get a photo with the koala they are always so patient in trying to get a smile out of my kid. The walkways are a little uneven and it can be easy to get lost but great way to kill time with small kids

I took my aunty and cousin during their visit to Sydney here as all they want to see are koala, kangaroos, and other Australian native animals. This zoo is small, but don't you worry, it has all that. They had their wishes taking photos with koala, and the price was so reasonable. I can't ask for more.

Overall, we enjoyed our short time here at the zoo.

I really enjoyed the experience there with my family. There were tons of koalas and kangaroos and I got to see a wombat too. The kids seemed to enjoy themselves as well. Even though it’s shaded, it can get pretty hot in the summer so try to go when it’s a little cooler for more animals to come out. Also everyone had feeding cups with them, so maybe get 1 cup to start and see how it goes. We purchased 3 and weren’t able to finish it.

This zoo has an exceptional number of marsupials and birds. I am a bird enthusiast and was happy to see so many stunning birds of Australia like the Pink Cockatoo and the Kookaburra. It was quite the experience to feed some of the small kangaroos. When we went it was very hot, so a lot of the animals were in the shade or resting. So I would recommend going when the weather is more moderate.

Hands down the best experience ever! Loved the whole park! Loved that we can interact with the animals here, feed them, and sometimes pet them, some, but not all. Loved the ultimate experience of seeing actual kangaroos and koala bears! Plus, you get a picture with the koalas! They have the best gift shop too! I will never forget this trip! This is one you definitely need to do when visiting Sydney, Australia!

The best zoo in Sydney! In here, you can safely pat and feed wombat and kangaroo! I would definitely go again and have fun with these adorable animals!

Tips ✨

It will be better to visit in the morning, it’s the time all the animals are awake and eager for food! By the noon or afternoon, most of them are full and sleeping!

For those are thinking about take photos with koala in a group, purchasing the standard package will be fine. The general admission + photo with koala $58 is for individual only.

Each photo package will include

This was my highlight before leaving Australia. So great to see those wild animals roam freely in the zoo. I couldn't stop myself from petting each of them. Stars of the zoo, of course, must be koala bears. I paid $35 for a few pics taken with a koala, which originally I thought was a stuffed toy. Yes, I stroked a real koala. The friendly kangaroos were really full up. Great experience for small and big kids. It's pretty straightforward for me to get there from Central Station.
