The shop prices are the same as the shops, sometimes more, some products are expired, the prices should be displayed not made up depending on profiling. People shop here because they need to but it has gotten to the point where you may as well shop at the shop, the pricing are made up comparing to full price items at retail stores, you may as well wait for your items to go on sale. Coles tomato paste $1 here (last week, because I asked how much everything was, I explained that it’s cheaper at the shops, this week 50 cents), 90cents at the shops- libra pads $2.5 here- $2.5 at the shops…. These are items that haven’t been sold at the shops and sent to food bank for a second chance for the vulnerable communities. I’m not sure if salvos mission statement has changed. Anyways that’s my two cents worth.
