Score based on customer service alone. After reading other reviews here, it seems to be a recurring theme.

I asked to be moved into a more appropriate starting pen for the Husky Marathon and it was declined. Their email said they “couldn’t do it”, and on the phone they said it was “too difficult”, but I think they just couldn’t be bothered. I feel it was a pretty simple request, especially considering the triple figure participation fee. It has left a sour taste and added avoidable anxiety leading up to the event.

These guys put on fantastic events! Staff are great, MC has been great, the event days run smoothly and you are always informed. Really like the fact they are all about stamping out single use items where possible and encourage you to bring your own swim cap and they hand out hats/towels you can have opposed to medals ✅

Events for the new to world champions. You can compete, volunteer, or just be a spectator. Either way, you can't help but be a part of the excitement and atmosphere. There are tents with so much merchanise, you won't go empty-handed. There's also yoga on the beach, night runs, and volleyball. Coffee and ice cream vans and hot food. If you haven't been before, you have to experience this. You might need to take a camera.

This is the perfect company to use for your next exercise event if you like the following:
-Getting hardly any inclusions/merch
-Paying significantly more than you would through any other company
-Training for an event for months, paying to participate in said event, only for Elite Events to shorten the course length, and not apologise or compensate the change whatsoever.

You may see all the social media, and the high price tag, and think this is some kind of well polished, high end exercise event company. It's not. If you're considering using these guys, I'd suggest running the other direction.

Update after EE response - it makes little sense that you would shorten a swim for "safety" reasons - if it was unsafe to swim, wouldn't you just cancel the whole swim?

There are reviews all over reflecting your company's inability to show any empathy for competitors becoming sick, injured or getting Covid, yet you expect us to just accept when you decide to change the length of a course we paid for? Seems like a double-standard to me.

Elite Energy is all about the money, but couldn't be less about the customer. Do better.

I have competed in a number of the Elite Energy events on the South Coast. The events are well run, and they are in fabulous locations. The triathlons are great, especially with the variety of events on offer. My favourite event though is the is the Kiama Coastal run -Tough course with spectacular scenery. Admin staff answer questions via email promptly, and we always have a great weekend away!

I recently competed in the Summit Shoalhaven which was put on by Elite Energy Events. Their commitment to getting an event up with the weather wreaking havoc (had to change the course and find a new base 1.5 days out!) was amazing. The event was fantastically organised with great volunteers and a really fantastic "local race" vibe

Events are excellent and well organised. I have attended multiple events over the years, including pretty much every event coming. Staff are really easy to deal onsite and via email, really responsive.

My son also goes in Elite events and they honestly look after the kids during the events and support them.

I'm deeply disappointed in my experience with Elite Energy. I too wish that I'd read these reviews before spending my money. This organisation definitely values policies above people. Following COVID and then personal injury, I was hoping to move my registration to another race but was told that the organisation must "hold strict to the refund & transfer policy". I'm now racing through H Events who are much more gracious and people-oriented in their dealings.
