Highly recommend this course, I learnt so much in four days that will assist me greatly in supporting my children who have dyslexia and dysgraphia. The amount of resources included in package was particularly impressive - I feel like I have everything I need to get started immediately.

Thank you for the opportunity to build greater depth in the teaching and learning of mathematics within my mathematics program at Gippsland Educational Consultancy. The kit is a fantastic resource for my students and I to utilise within my mathematics tutoring and consultation sessions. Some of the new language and OG specific processes will take some time and practice to refine to automaticity, but I see many benefits in using the OG kit. One standout for me was that your "Practitioner" promo had the promise of Dyslexia OG Maths scope and sequence, screeners, assessment and a sequential approach to building maths competencies. Myself and most attendee's were so disappointed that this was not the case at all. I was expecting at the least, a folder or ebook to refer to on completion of my training, this would assist with revisiting course material, refining skills and building concrete knowledge of the techniques we need for best practice in supporting students in need.
Slide shows or visuals to help make connections with lesson plans and delivery would have been a huge benefit too. Can't help but feel a little disappointed when we payed over one thousand dollars to attend and we left with a kit and no instructions on how to implement it, just a few hanouts which we had to write on. I'm mindful that attendees who need to report learnings back to school and teach the strategies demonstreated within their homes for some, schools or educational services would have quite a challenge on their hands. Just a little deflated after completing the training. I will keep you posted.

This is my 2nd time attending Orton Gillingham by Kate. 1st was in Christchurch last year, where I attended Basic Orton. Gillingham. Flew from Singapore to Christchurch, New Zealand. It was fruitful learning and a number of discussion with Kate. I love how she carry out her training. Filled with laughter at the same time.

Flew again from Singapore to Melbourne, where I attended Morphology by Kate. It’s really awesome to attend her training again. Honestly, it’s worth for me to travel to gain this priceless knowledge which I will use and currently using in my school.

Hope I could attend the Math Orton Gillingham soon !!!!! #NeverStopLearning

What a fabulous experience! The presenter had a tough job keeping 15 teachers engaged for 4 full days but she did it! I learnt soooo much during the training and I cannot wait to take this back to my school and use it with my kids, as well as pass onto other teachers. I'm excited!
