One of our favourite and frequent destinations on the Illawarra coast. A huge range of reads for all ages whatever your taste. Soak it in and enjoy the atmosphere pervading this special bookshop and then be helped by the wonderful staff.

Wonderful customer service! I received a book voucher for Christmas and ordered a few books from Collins. One was unavailable at the time, so the staff at Thirroul personally emailed me to double check if I was happy to wait for the book to be in stock again before accepting my order and payment. They even texted me directly to let me know the book had arrived!
Whenever I visit family in Ballarat (I'm from Adelaide), I always love visiting the Collins store there, and I will definitely be online ordering from the company in the future. Plus, their book prices are very reasonable for a small chain of bookshops which makes it easy to support an Australian business.

Absolutely wonderful store and customer service. I ordered a book as a gift for someone online- all the way from Ireland. Amanda and her team kept me up to date with the order and let me know when it was posted. When the book arrived it had been beautifully wrapped with a handwritten note attached. Never pass a good bookstore without having a little gander. Thirroul is blessed as this shop sits in the heart of the village. If you have tsundoku, stacks of books around the house to be read later, this little shop will help feed your habit. And the staff are genuinely helpful and up to date.

This is a delightful store, they always have what I want in store. Staff are wonderful. If you buy books here instead of online you will have a human interaction and you can’t get that on Amazon. Books are perfectly priced, store in a great location and the children’s area is always a fun place to take your little one to fire up his or her imagination!
