Always a tiresome experience when going to this Coles..there is no self-serve checkout available so expect to wait in line for at least 15-20min everytime. Old lady on checkout 9 today (14th February around 5:12pm) held up a waiting line of 10 customers, because she was occupied chatting to a delinquent family for 10mins (they only had about 15 items to scan, so it should have only taken 2min). Even the shoppers behind me were complaining/ swearing...if you really need to go here I recommend visiting after 8pm if you don't want to be stuck in line. I'm pretty sure their 5 star reviews are FAKE

All COLES stores run to a program, this one was no exception, well laid out and generous shelves. However lunchtime with only 3 checkouts meant a lengthy wait.

Quite good in most areas but I think they need to train the ones on the checkouts a little better, as the 2nd ever shopping here was denied bonus benefit Flybuys point’s & discount as the checkout lady not seen it before, so just thought I was not entitled to it, now who is she to judge this. Quite disappointing to say the least.

Worst Coles I’ve even been to. Consistently understaffed, barely any checkouts open, mould on the roof, when it rains water drips through the light fixtures. At least install some self checkouts to prevent queues half way down the shop and over 15 minutes waiting in the queue. Asked to speak to a manager and was told there isn’t a customer support manager at the moment.

I tried to post the follow on the Cole site, guess what ! , they wouldnt let me.
I dont often buy from Coles but on occasion have little other choice. Today i needed several items, whilst browsing i couldn't help notice prices as much as twice the price (a couple items even more) than the prices from my regular supermarket. The other noticable thing is the staff dont really appear to want to please customers and indeed show malice toward the customer. What was more insulting was standing in line at the checkout, several people in front of me, they decide to close that check out leaving me to go and stand in another line. The line i had to move to had 12 other people waiting before me. It is clear the customer is not held in very high regard. Westfarmers, you are failing, you seem to be more concerned with price gouging, obsessed with obscene profits. Restructure to consider the customer at a fair price or suffer the consequences.

Deli was very clean, cold meat was tidy and looked fresh and delicious. It was nice to see. Then I wanted to buy some fresh veggies, the mint was wilted and had started to decompose, all the mint and some other herbs were the same. Other veggies like broccoli were also in bad condition. With this in mind, I went to woollies. I like to shop around but unless the veggies improve I won’t be buying vegetables in Coles. One more thing some sizzle steak were dry and crusty looking. Will be back in coles in the next fortnight to see if it’s improved. Hope so. Catherine
