Camping at this destination was very limited. $25 cash for o electricity no water connection. Toilets were 300 m away no showers. This is called free camping but we got slugged. Won’t go there again.

Tried so many times to contact the caretaker over the last week, even sent sms. Phone off and no reply to sms. Even called the club, got told to call the caretaker, said I have, phone is off and even sent sms, got told he doesn't reply to messages and answers when he's at the club πŸ™„. So we tried our luck and turned up, powered sites occupied, some looked like they had been there for a while. Tried calling the caretaker, no answer, not surprised. Area looked average, so we left and went to Bellingen.

We had a cheap lunch special which suited us.
$16 meatloaf and veggies
$19 lambshank and same
(Beans a bit chewy and lamb oily but overall good)
20% surcharge a bit stiff for a club. Only paid 15% at a cafe in Maclean for public holiday and they're a profit driven business.
Just build your "loadings" into your standard pricing.
There's enough data to draw on nowadays to not run that business risk.

Stayed in the caravan park 3 nights. Found the caretaker Vern to be not very interested in campers. Eould not answere his phone or texts. 1 shower in the disabled toilet available. 1 mens toilet available. Was told to shut the door after use, guess what, no door. Only stay here if you don't have any else to stay. Not worth $30 for powered site per night. Cash only?

Good camp grounds for vans. Friendly quiet and good location. Well worth a stay especially compared to the old overpriced van parks in town.
