I’ve done a few lessons with Gee over the years and participated in some of her clinics. Her coaching is excellent, she picks up things very quickly and pushes you to improve. I also love how she helps bringing women together in her clinics, with shared values of love of the ocean, encouragement, positivity and respect. These weekends are so much fun, and great tools for improvement. Highly recommend.

I have been looking for the right coach for a long time and Gee is beyond amazing! always wanted to learn surf on land but was scared and intimidated to try. Gee made the class so enjoyable and knowledgable, that i got so excited and definitely want to continue to learn more! Every single technique was broken down in steps so i left very confident and wthout a fear of how im going to do it by myself. And more important the support and encouragement i felt was beyond anything i can wish for, especially if you are trying to learn in your late 30s:) Highly reccomend have a private class.

Hands down the best surf school for girls and women. Chix Surf offers so much more than learning to get up on your board. The experience is complete - understanding your board, your body, the ocean and your connection to it. You will have fun, progress your surfing, and meet lots of other likeminded women and girls along the way.

I have only the highest praise for Chix Surf School - I have just returned from their Winter Women's Clinic which was amazing. Gee and her staff are awesome coaches and even though the conditions were not ideal, I have come away with SO much more knowledge about my surfing, the conditions and how to read the conditions. I would 100% recommend Chix surf school to anyone wanting to learn how to surf or improve their surfing in a really supportive and encouraging environment. The coaches are fantastic surfers and will give you really specific feedback to improve your technique to become a better surfer. I can't wait to go back next year!

Chix surf clinic is one of a kind. If you want to improve your surfing in a great female friendly environment and understand what you are doing wrong Gee will tell you and explain it. I have been told many times what I need to improve but not why....Big thanks Gee
So looking forward to putting it all in to practice and looking forward to a chix surf trip next year. Girls if you love surfing treat yourself it is totally worth it.

The Chix surf coaching experience was leaps and bounds above any other coaching I have ever received. Gee's style of coaching and passion for what she does was incredible. I am able to see improvements in my surfing and understand the next steps to continue to progress. I left the weekend feeling inspired and confident that I was able to hit the waves solo and implement everything that I had learnt.
